Home to breathtaking views with excellent opportunities for photo stops, the Sacred Valley of the Incas will be waiting for you. On the way to the valley, you will stop at Awanacancha, a quaint complex, and admire the Andean camelids such as alpacas and llamas. Learn about traditional dyeing and knitting techniques from local inhabitants. Later, you will explore the Pisac Market with free time to look around and purchase handicrafts. If you feel like tasting something traditional, stop by the wood ovens for a delicious empanada or a piece of bread. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, your tour will continue to Ollantaytambo, a small town full of local color which has been inhabited since the Inca times. There, you will visit the main temple used as a fortress during the Inca resistance.
Optional: Half Day Biking- Best Down Hill in Cusco
This activity will take you to the highlands of Cusco. You will be picked up from your hotel and travel to the upper area of the city. Prepare to see the truly breathtaking scenery surrounding the city of Cusco. You will test your bike and receive a safety briefing and instructions. Based on your experience level, you will choose between going down a paved runway or descending onto roads and single-track roads. These declines can be prepared according to the skills and experience of the traveler. At the end of your adventure, you will return to the Cusco City Center.

Later, you will return to your hotel in Cusco.

Visit the most outstanding sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Depart for Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque town in the Sacred Valley. Chinchero is also famous for its women weavers. You will make a brief stop in a textile center to appreciate the beautiful fabrics and learn the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning with Alpaca wool. In this gorgeous town, you will visit the Inca Archaeological Complex and its beautiful colonial church, where you may take in the breathtaking imagery surrounding the town. Continue your journey to Moray, a beautiful and curious Inca archaeological complex composed of colossal concentric terraces simulating a large amphitheater. During Inca times, it served as an agricultural laboratory where diverse microclimates were recreated. Enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants in the area. Finally, end your tour with a visit to the fabulous archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, significant for the Incas as a military, religious, and agricultural center. Visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the bathrooms of the ñusta, and the Temple of the Sun along with other places of interest. You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and embark on a twenty-minute drive to your starting point. The ride will last two and a half hours and will take you through beautiful fields, Andean-style villages, and views of the Inca sites and vestiges. Enjoy a wonderful view of the city of Cusco on your way to the Temple of the Moon, where you will leave your horse and drive back to the city. Return to the hotel in Cusco.
