This trip is fast paced but provides a very good overview of all six Central American countries within a 25 day timeframe. The itinery is varied covering history, geography, politics, flora and fauna. There is plenty of wildlife and birds. Tommy Morales the tour leader is exceptional making the trip smooth sailing. There are many quirky activities to do like a hot spring spa in the middle of the jungle. This is a trip you will love and will make you want to do more in Central America.

Amazing tour made perfect by a fabulously knowledgeable and attentive tour guide (Miguel Vasquez). Great itinerary and even tho we did the ‘reverse’ think it was the best way round. Antigua at the end was the icing on the cake. Great mixture of adventure, nature, history and local culture. Food and drink good too. Accommodation is good some exceeded my expectations but not enough to warrant ‘excellent’. ..

This was a wonderful trip with a varied itinerary and a delightful group of travelers. The bus was a bit crowded and hot making some of the very long travel days a bit uncomfortable. Some buses had a few seatbelts, others NONE. Our guide, Joshua, was excellent: always in good spirits, very knowledgeable and a good administrator. My only recommendation would be for him to break up some of those long travel days with more commentary on the bus. I'm sure I will not be alone in mentioning the border crossing at Puerto Fronterizo Subteniente Lopez on 11/24. We were denied entry for almost two hours. Essentially they are trying to keep tourists from crossing there to reduce their workload. (We observed maybe 2 people crossing the border over a two hour period.)They did not even allow us to sit in the empty chairs...Joshua held his ground and performed beautifully to get us into Mexico. Loved the archeological sites...loved the cenotes! I'll be back on another Explore trip soon!

Miguel was an excellent tour guide during our full-on five country tour of Central America. It’s not a tour for everyone as there is little free time but I loved it. Volcanoes, wildlife, Mayan ruins, local culture and yet more volcanoes - what’s not to like! We did the Costa Rica to Guatemala route and felt this flowed better than the alternative would have - particularly finishing up in a lovely hotel in Antigua.

Fast paced itinerary giving multiple chances to experience wildlife in coastal, inland, riverine and jungle environments as well as Mayan history and wonderful modern culture/people of Belize. Our fantastic tour leader Justin Willshire made it all work behind the scenes but he also truly enjoys his job and this shines through in his approach and sociable engagement. Our driver and various expert guides completed the picture. Loved the whole two weeks although some of the accommodation could have been better.

The most amazing trip across the states where I truly feel like I have lived and seen SO much for the time we spent! This trip is jam packed with a busy agenda including lots of moving about, activities and optional extras, it's exactly what I wanted. Thank you to our legendary tour guide for keeping the energy sky high throughout and to a lovely group of people to have shared it with. :-)
