Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel were the best!!! The property was beautiful and the people were the best; very helpful, friendly and polite . A place I have always wanted to visit. Eating breakfast and dinner there was a beautiful experience. The views from the Cupola Bar were beautiful. The tour of Chicago was so fun and Guide Dave was wonderful, knew so much, answered questions. Dinner at Harry Caray's was perfect; fun place, great people and glad I was there, a good distraction for me, to celebrate what would have been our 50th anniversary. The Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park were amazing; didn't know what to expect. The surprise drive across the Bridge was nice!!!! Loved the Dow house and grounds; I could have spent more time there; very interesting. In Bay City I enjoyed the river walk area and the band in the park right in front of our hotel. Henry Ford museum and Greenfield Village were amazing. I could have stayed there a lot longer; hard to take it all in. Dawn and Lonnie were the best; definitely made the trip wonderful. I learned so much about Michigan and was so glad to see these few parts of the State. Farewell dinner at Ford Garage; great way to top it off!!!

Alejandro was excellent in every way. He made this trip better than it already was. He was always energetic, thoughtful, and going out of his way to accommodate us. If there were any unexpected hiccups they were dealt with, with little interruptions if any to the trip. He was the first up and the last to go to bed. On a trip like this, the guide can make it or break it and he differently made this trip. Alejandro, you are the best, thanks for your hard work, and patience, and for making it an unforgettable wonderful time. This will be one of my best memories. The trip highlighted all the places and things I wanted to see and do without the hassle of me figuring it out on my own and I liked the fact that the groups are small.

The itinerary was brilliant. It covered exactly what I wished to experience. The balance between musical experiences and the other experiences was perfect. The amount of days for each stop was ideal. The only disappointment was the Best Western Hotel at Natchez was well below the standard required and I recommend a different hotel for Natchez.

Where else can you see and take a hike in 5 national parks, 4 state parks, and visit Antelope Canyon? There is something to see and do at every stop! Be ready for a hike at each stop, but even if you decide not to hike there is still plenty to see. I don’t like flying or bus tours, but this was an amazing exception! If you like amazing views and a chance to explore during a hike you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I highly recommend Charlie the Traveler. We decided to honeymoon in Belize and we booked our 10 day trip through Tour Radar. Charlie called me after we booked and we talked for about 30 minutes about Belize and all the things to do. Evelyn (with Charlie the Traveler) sent us our itinerary 2 weeks before our trip and it was jam packed with adventures: cave tubing, cave canoeing, snorkeling, visiting the Mayan ruins including a massive cave adventure, the zoo, and more. Our tour guide in country, Valentin, was incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, professional, and funny. We felt very safe and taken care of. Evelyn remained available if we needed anything during the trip. We would use Charlie the Traveler again for another trip!
