We had a good time on our tour. Our major complaint was about the waterfall excursion in Hilo. It was the most expensive excursion and we had high expectations. It was a complete disappointment. The waterfall and swim area was small and all 3 groups at one point were there at the same time. 45 people in a small tight space. The tour guides and vehicles were nice and the view at the end was the highlight of the tour. The "hike" was pretty pointless, other than to waste time. At $274 person, I feel taken advantage of. I would have rathered i saved the $ and relaxed and enjoyed the outrigger resort. It seemed to have some activities i would have enjoyed more the the l9ng drive to the small waterfall.
I wish we had a live guided tour at Pearl Harbor.
Twin fin had a great restaurant and good location but was the weakest of the 3 resorts. Our tour guide was kind , competent and personable but some of her info was out of date.

Very good overall. Unfortunately Pearl Harbor tour had to be modified and a discounted rate should’ve been offered. Additionally due to the drought in Maui the waterfall hike experience was very disappointing for the cost and amount of time required….again a discount or up front notification about the state of the trip prior to offering. Hotels weee nice and tour manager was nice. Additionally, I understand the need to go paperless. However, the verbal communication was overwhelming at times. For other tour companies a white board was left in the lobby with the next day itinerary where the vacationers could take photo and easily reference versus referencing their email every day

I would suggest having more choices for the optional excursions. If you were not one to snorkel, there weren't many other options. Maybe add a shopping experience where the bus/tour would take you into the town/village to shop. One thing I would change was the amount of time at the coffee tour. The tour was excellent but very time consuming. Also, I would have liked more time when we stopped at both Kailua and the Whaler's Village. We did a side trip, Kohala Waterfalls Adventure. There were 3 or 4 people in the group that were unable to complete the tour. I think there should be something stated on the itinerary that the walk is somewhat strenuous (the tour wasn't cheap, I feel these people lost out). The trip was wonderful, and we met many great people. Our tour director, was fantastic.
