North America 1-Day Tours and Trips

I liked the ruins, but I wish we had more time there. The drivers and guide on the walk did not speak English, which is not their fault, but it did complicate things. The stay in the Lacandon village was advertised as ‘learn about the culture of indigenous Lacandon people’, but there was none of that, in my opinion. I did not feel particularly welcome to be honest. It made me wonder if the people of the eco-camp should maybe consider a career change, because working with tourists does not seem to be something they really enjoy. The surroundings were beautiful and the swim at the waterfall was great though. After lunch we had to wait for the van back to Palenque for three hours, although in the description it was said we would drive back ‘after lunch’. The time-frame here is open to interpretation, I guess. I have to stress that the experience was not overall negative, but there most definitely is room for improvement, especially regarding the overnight stay in the village.

We had a great time with Rob during our Philly History Tour. He pointed out so many interesting things and was patient with us when we were a few minutes getting there (oops!). It was so awesome to wrap up the tour at the brewery and talking with Rob more. We'd recommend it to anyone! Had a blast!

I am a "born and bred Philadelphian" who has given tours of the historic mansions in Fairmount Park and I just want to commend Kenny for an very informative and fun tour of the Italian Market, He was really good at knowing his audience and giving us the time we needed at each stop. I never felt rushed during the tour and although we had a parking concern and had to leave the tour 20 mins. earlier, Kenny did a fabulous job with the two hour time limit of the tour. I will recommend this tour as well as other trips organized by the tour operator to my family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful morning spent learning more about the city that I love! Tour was excellent! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We are native New York theatergoers and found the tour quite informative. Beyond the scenes at the New Amsterdam was amazing.

The History in HD walking tour was fantastic. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. His enthusiasm and passion for history and Old City Philadelphia were an added bonus, making the tour that much more interesting and fun. I enjoyed the tour very much and highly recommend it.

Our tour guide Kenny was great! He was extremely knowledgeable about not only the Italian Market, but also other Philadelphia history. He was energetic, excited, polite, and most of all patient with our 3 kids! He made sure they had some cookies from Isgro, which was a huge highlight of the trip for them! We all had a great time!
