Everything was amazing from start to finish! I especially liked learning more about the ancient ruins of Troy and Ephesus from our guide who not only shared his knowledge but also stories of the time period that really helped.

It was a very well balanced tour. The itinerary allowed us to see a lot of the iconic locations of Turkey as well as lesser known ones. The variety of included and optional activities was excellent. The range of accommodation was great, most hotels were much better than we had expected. The included meals were very nice and plentiful. Some days in the bus were long, but always enjoyable and there was always something amazing to see along the way or learn about from our very knowledgeable tour guide. and (our driver) made the journey enjoyable, thought provoking and safe. They are lovely people, a credit to Turkey for their welcoming nature and passion to share their country with others. I would highly recommend this tour to my family and friends.

The itinerary is fine. Will be better if visit to places where one is exposed to the elements could be scheduled for first thing in the morning like 7 am, before the heat makes it uncomfortable to walk. Also, while most of the hotels are nice, there is one or two hotels that are below the standard.

Nice relaxing trip. Weather was great so we were able to do all the available excursions. The staff on the boat were great and the food was good as well. Only downside was the aircon below deck barely worked but we all were able to sleep comfortably under the starts. Group size is small so it was a very intimate trip. Would reccomend to anyone who wants a relaxing week out at sea as this trip isn’t heavy party vibes.

The Itinerary provided a very comprehensive view of the Turkiye, its history and ancient history and a view of contemporary Turkiye, its peoples' lifestyles representative of various communities. Perhaps the inclusion of Eastern locations adjoining the Euphrates may have added a view of the less "touristy" part of the country to complement well known sites. However there is a limit to travel time, accessibility of locations, with consideration availability of quality facilities eg accommodation, to view less accessible/ familiar sites.

Highlights of Turkey Adventure Tours

  • Enjoy an affordable ski season (December to February) on your Turkey trip. Compared with other European ski resorts, Turkish ski resorts offer much cheaper rates with fewer crowds.
  • Swim, dive, snorkel, kiteboard or kayak as Turkey offers a range of watersports to choose from. The tranquil and crystal-clear Turkish coastline, particularly near Bodrum and Kas, is perfect for adventure watersports tours in Turkey.
  • Take to the sky in a hot air balloon at Cappadocia to see the fairy chimneys and other rock formations.
  • Hit the trails with historic hikes. With a history that stretches back from Ancient Greece, the Ottomans and beyond, the trails around Turkey are brimming with history.
  • Take a horseback excursion to Turkey’s mountainous landscape. Enjoy the natural beauty of the ancient land and put your off-trail riding skills to the test.

Travel Tips for Adventure Tours in Turkey

  • Avoid or limit outdoor adventures in the summer months, as temperatures can get unbearable.
  • Carry cash, especially if you’re hiking or mountain biking in remote areas like Mount Ararat, as ATMs are at a premium outside the main cities.
  • Check the reviews for your adventure operator. Everyone loves a budget deal but when you’re canyoning or paragliding, safety records and good reviews are way more important than saving a bit of money.
  • Double check public transport schedules. Turkish buses aren’t the most reliable outside of the city. If you’re heading out of the major cities for a daylong hike, make sure you can get back.
