Turkey Tours in April 2027

I bought the trip package during NATAS fair in Singapore. It was my first time traveling with Trafalgar but my husband is a repeat customer. The itinerary meet our needs and covered many places that we wanted to visit in Turkey. I would have like it if there was more free time to explore to old city in Istanbul, including the Basilica cistern. As for the hotels during the trip, I wished they could have been better choices. Overall a pleasant trip, ideal group size (under 30) and a very knowledgeable and fun local guide.

The tour itinerary is amazing. We saw so much history in a reasonably short time. The hotels and transport were generally good. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would recommend.mend this tour to anyone who is interested in ancient history.

This was one of the best trips I've ever taken. Our guide Saylan was outstanding -- beyond superior. She was fun, personable, knowledgeable, and conscientious about everyone's needs. The trip was full on, twelve hours a day. We learned oodles about Roman and Turkish history. (If you're not into history, the trip is not for you.) This was truly Turkey in depth. And what a beautiful country! I would have taken out maybe one ancient city, or Birgi, to spend some time in the mountains coming up from Kas to the north. They were gorgeous. We marveled at the Turkish food, all of which was fabulous. I would definitely go back to see more of Turkey in the future. But what really made this trip so wonderful was Saylan, our guide. She was simply exceptional.

Our guide Nebil was kind, intelligent, extremely well informed and an excellent communicator who understood the individual and group needs of a diverse group of people. He facilitated with ease and skill. We felt safe at all times yet supported and encouraged to engage thoroughly with all aspects of the trip. All of the accommodation was as described and expected but the level of hospitality and warmth greatly exceeded what could have ben expected. This was an excellent trip and we thoroughly recommend Explore to others. There was an excellent blend of Historical and Cultural experience, stunning views and great walking.

We had taken a cruise more than a decade ago down the coast of Turkey. This tour gave us the opportunity to see the interior of Turkey, at least the northern part. It was eye opening. There are so many diverse regions and so much history. The hotels were like other European hotels, cramped. They do not turn on the aircon until June or July and we found the rooms on the warm side. The staff in the hotels were very pleasant and accommodating. The bus was European- narrow but not as narrow as Asia. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke clearly. While we were driving, he talked for 20 minutes or so and them quit for longer, then talked again. He answered all questions, approached the whole tour with calmness and a caring attitude. We saw many different areas of Turkey, had general and personal experiences. We could not have asked for a better tour.

This tour was amazing ? the tour leader Ege was great. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We visited some amazing places including Gallipoli and Ankara. The driver was also courteous and friendly. I would totally recommend this tour.
