Salzburg: The Wastlbauer farm is located amidst the beautiful district of the three lakes just outside Salzburg and has been run by the same family since 1786. It is now managed by Eva who runs the farm in line with the principles of permaculture and self-sufficiency. There is almost 2.000m2 vegetable production inside and outdoors - all tended by hand, there are 350 chickens, 5 sheep, 2 donkeys, 2 rabbits, 10 cats and a puppy dog on the farm. The farm produces certified organic eggs and vegetables and has regional cooperation with diary and meat farms. Guests will visit and have dinner with Eva and members of her family.

was a great tour guide, and was a wonderful safe driver.
In One word, it was Fantastic. We really enjoyed everything about it.
Experienced a lot more than I could if I travelled on my own
Great! Planning is good, visited many places of interest.
For the most part the itinerary was good. I felt that at times too much time was allotted after the walking tours. I do realize that this was because they wanted to have the hotel room ready when we arrived.
Spent 464 Euros (about $540 US) to see the view from the Eagle's Nest and the view of the Matterhorn. We saw neither because of the weather and cloud cover. There should be a disclaimer in the excursion writeup explaining the chances of actually seeing the landmarks
There was not much open in Zurich on the August 1st holiday. Something should have been planned.
Liked the varied itinerary and opportunities to get to know fellow travellers. Really liked Matterhorn. Didn’t care for chocolate factory visit. Was hokey and child like..no chocolate demonstration which is what we had been looking forward to. Really enjoyed walking tours with select guides at various towns and attractions. Loved the ski jumping and the night out at Swiss show Didn’t like first or last hotel. Both rooms were small cramped and had no air conditioning. The last hotel had shards of glass outside our room and down the hall. Reported it to chambermaids…nothing done. Reported it to front desk next day..nothing done. Was still there when we left.
