Excellent trip and will recommend the trip to others!
Overall everything went well. Bus and guides always on time. Food was very good. Location of Charlton was good for walking to see Treviso. Time in Venice was not long enough. Sometimes the local tours seemed rushed and with the different walking speeds of people made it hard to really take it all in and take photos. Maybe more time on your own with suggestions of what to see. Do not visit Verona on a weekend. We were there on a Sunday and very very crowded. I know you cannot control the weather but was really looking forward to the cable car ride at the Dolomites and the winery tour but it was still enjoyable even with the rain. Nice if not 41 people in the group since bathroom breaks take so much time. I enjoyed the old Italian experience of Asolo but I wish the stores would have been open. Overall great time and wonderful experience.
Loved so much about this trip but esprcially loved visit to the proseco vineyard where everyone made past, venice and the gondola trip, and the dinner at the counts palace outside Venice.
Best trip EVER! Loved being in the same hotel. Every day was delightful. Cortina was an amazing experience. Our unscheduled stop in Castelfranco Veneto was a good choice because we would have had too much time in Asolo. Good call on Luigi's part.
I didn't have to make decision about what I'd be doing each day. I could choose to go on the adventures or not. That's it.
Loved all the towns we stopped in and the sights we saw. My favorite was the Dolomites. So incredible!
Our tour director, Chiara Brandi, was excellent. She went over and above to help us to make our trip enjoyable. The memorable moment was to visit the church in Venice and get there with the help of Chiara. It was a bucket list I had. The food and tiramisu was excellent. The sightseeing places, Verona, Murano Island, Asolo, The Dolomites(very beautiful), All the winery Tours, experiencing prosecco and grapps, and eating and touring a Venetian Villa. All this is memorable to me.
Dinner with the Count at Villa built in 1535! Also the prosecco vineyard tour and making pasta. Wonderful tour!!!
This tour is an excellent way to see key locations in Northern Italy. Our tour manager, Cenzia was wonderful. Her knowledge of the area, the sites visited, and history really made a difference. That coupled with her genuine enjoyment of her tour group and the energy brought to ensuring everyone was having a good time was fantastic. Very highly recommend this tour.
Fantastic trip. We loved everything- the people, food and sites.
I loved the Dolomites it was a great day seeing the mountains 🏔️. I loved that the tour guide and bus driver had such great insights into the area . The whole tour was a great experience.
Verona was the best
Hotel accommodations were Spartan, Bed was not comfortable and hotel food was very disappointing…below average to average. On tours when we arrive a city, we would usually have a short walking tour and be on our own for about four hours… For lunch and shopping. Ha ha all the shops closed from usually 1230 to 4 on tour to the dolomites our lunch consisted of spinach, gnocchi, and a slice of strudel all in all very disappointing as where the hotel accommodation. Right spot was tour guide Luca. He was delightful and well informed give him an A+.
Our first time in Italy, and couldn’t imagine it being any better than what we experienced on our Collette tour. Our tour manager, Tonia, was a rock star! She shared so much historical information about the areas that we went to, all from memory - very impressive! We really enjoyed being able to stay in the same place every night for the entire tour. So many beautiful places - we wouldn’t hesitate to use Collette again.
Loved every minute of this trip which was organized down to the last detail. The trip was perfectly curated. The guide was friendly, accessible, knowledgeable and accessible. The tour of a villa, including dinner was a highlight, as was the pasta-making lesson and meal at a ‘green’ vineyard. It was wonderful to have everything taken care of.
