Excellent tour overall. Fantastic hotels (especially for Euorpe) and in very strategic locations. Excellent meals (especially Morroco).
The optionals are mostly good, the # of castles got redundant by the end, but overall a great tour for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

Tour was very expensive for the experience. The fact that theres no dinners included and all 99%of excursions one has to pay for them ourselves not fair. Some excursions we paid for the elders with wheelchair's with walking mobility could NOT go explore whilst they have pay allot of money it was NOT worth the money for those excursions. One was for hours on the road to go and view horses at a farm. We paid unnecessary for expensive dinners and entertainment that was not worth the money. The Travel Director didn’t sell the through reflection of most places where went for dinners. I paid for one dinner I did not eat a slice of pork cut like a piece of ham & soaked in water was raw I had to sleep with hunger. The restaurant looks not on point for such an expensive DINNER very disappointing. I told the Travel Director about my experience but I still had to pay for dinner I did not ate. At the restaurant self I explained the waiter of my experience she brushed it off and didn’t offer me anything different to eat. With my experience with Trafalgar this is the worse travel not to my expectations allot of travellers were not impressed. We had to pay for tips €138 euro for a bad travel experience. The coach driver was very helpful and good. The Travel Director should market/sell the real thing and not mislead travellers. VERY DISSAPOINTED .

Food was very disappointing. Tour leader offered several optional excursions that were different from what we were originally told. The verbal description was inadequate & I was disappointed with the excursion several times.

Overall a great trip. Like anything, there’s always room for improvement. This is a new offering from Trafalgar and at times, things seemed a little disorganized but I would expect that with a newly offered tour. Food offered had highs and lows (with dinner at Hotel Carmen in Grenada being at the bottom but the view from its rooftop bar made up for it). Really enjoyed the flamenco show dinner. It was one of the best we had. Highlight for us was Costa del Sol - absolutely loved the hotel, the vibe and everything we did in that region. Definitely did not get enough time at Plaza Espana in Seville. What a gem that was! The horse farm was just ok and I honestly think you could eliminate it from the itinerary. I would have liked a day extra in Morocco and/or Lisbon. Especially since the ferry to and from Tangier was rather arduous. The hotel in Lisbon was not in a great area, kind of plain (with incredibly dark rooms;like truly hard to see at times) and it wasn’t near anything so I would suggest finding something closer to old town in the future. We enjoyed our trip and would be open to another Trafalgar tour in the future.
