day 1 - Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel
Our representative will meet you on arrival in Kathmandu and transfer you to your hotel in the city. You are free for the rest of the day.
day 2 - Kathmandu sightseeing tour
Discover Kathmandu during a sightseeing tour after breakfast. Drive to the famous Durbar Square of Kathmandu where the Living Goddess of Kathmandu lives. Your next destination is Patan Durbar Square, yet another Unesco World Heritage site. This durbar square is perhaps the most photographed of the three durbar squares of Kathmandu Valley. Located in the heart of Patan city, this was once the palace of the kings of Patan. Learn more about Newari architecture that reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings during your visit to Patan.
Last on today's itinerary is Swayambhunath Stupa. This stupa is said to have been built more than 2,500 years ago and is an important pilgrimage sites of Buddhists. Drive back to your hotel in the city after the tour is over.
day 3 - Drive to Nagarkot from Kathmandu
Leave the chaos of Kathmandu behind after breakfast as you drive to Nagarkot, a hill station located 2,300 m above sea level. Nagarkot offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan range. From here you can see many major Himalayan peaks like Langtang, Langtang Lirung, Amadablam, Dorje Lhakpa, Gaurishankar and Mount Everest on a clear day.
day 4 - Drive to Daman
Head for Daman after breakfast. Located approximately 80 km to the southwest of the Kathmandu Valley, Daman (2,400 m) offers an unimpeded view of roughly 400 km of the Himalayan panorama.
This destination is located on Tribhuvan Highway between Kathmandu and the town of Hetauda. While here, you have the option to enjoy a variety of activities such as rock climbing, cycling and hiking.
day 5 - Drive to Chitwan
Continue your journey to Chitwan, where a two-hour elephant safari experience awaits you. Also included is a program about Tharu culture. The Tharus are an ethnic group found in Nepal's plain region including areas surrounding Chitwan National Park.
day 6 - Discover Chitwan National Park
A wake-up call in the morning is followed by a nature walk for birdwatching. Enjoy a canoe ride in the national park and visit an elephant-breeding center. Then head for the national park visitor center to gain more information about this wildlife reserve. Next, enjoy a village tour by ox cart and see how ethnic Tharu people live. There will also be a slide presentation about the flora and fauna of the national park.
day 7 - Continue your stay in Chitwan
Explore Chitwan National Park and spot a variety of wildlife. You might even spot the endangered royal Bengal tiger in case you are lucky.
day 8 - Drive to Bandipur and return to Kathmandu
Leave Chitwan after breakfast and head for Bandipur, a scenic village atop a hill that is known for its history and architecture as well as for its breathtaking views of the entire Annapurna range, among other mountains. A majority of people who live in Bandipur are from the Newar community and this village is an ideal place to get insights about their culture and way of life.
Your day comes to an end on reaching Kathmandu where we will drop you off at your accommodation or the airport.
