Lake Como, Saint Moritz & Milan (3 Star) - 8 days

Make your way to our hotel in Tremezzo, Lake Como. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure. You might choose to take a relaxing stroll along the lakeside promenade, explore the charming streets of the nearby town, or simply unwind while enjoying the stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. A welcome dinner is included tonight.

Tour Style: On this tour you will stay in the same hotel throughout, with included excursions and free time to spend at leisure. On the excursions the maximum group size is 45. A tour leader is on hand at the hotel to provide information and assistance throughout your stay.

Today, we will embark on a boat trip to discover the towns and villas along the picturesque shoreline of Lake Como. Situated at the junction of the three branches of the lake, we will visit the charming town of Bellagio before heading back to our hotel. The evening will be yours to relax and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Como.

You will have the day to relax and enjoy the charms of Lake Como. Our local guide will be happy to suggest activities and recommend must-see highlights. Why not stretch your legs and take in the views with a walk along the lakeside promenade or simply relax at the hotel? During the summer months, a short trip on a water taxi will take you to one of the many beaches or lidos along the lake, most of which offer amenities such as bars, restaurants, and sunbeds for hire at a small cost.

Tremezzo - Tirano - Poschiavo (Switzerland) - Diavolezza - St. Moritz - Chiavenna (Italy) - Tremezzo. Today, we will enjoy a full-day guided excursion to the Swiss Alps. After a brief visit to the Alpine town of Tirano, we will continue into Switzerland, where we will board the Bernina Express in Poschiavo for a scenic one-hour journey through stunning alpine and glacial landscapes.

After disembarking in Diavolezza, we will travel onwards to the elegant Swiss town of St. Moritz, where we can stretch our legs, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and perhaps pick up some delicious Swiss chocolate to take home. On our return journey to Lake Como, we will stop in the Italian mountain town of Chiavenna before heading back to our hotel.

Please Note: As the weather in this mountainous region can change quickly, we recommend dressing in layers and wearing comfortable, sturdy shoes.

You will have the day free to enjoy at your own pace. You can visit some of the beautiful villas and gardens, such as Villa Carlotta, located near your hotel in Tremezzo, or Villa Balbianello, one of the most famous and spectacular around the lake. Take the time to savour some of the delicious specialities of the region, including risotto alla Milanese, thin-crust pizza, or the renowned Lombardy dish, osso buco.

Tremezzo - Milan - Tremezzo. This morning, we will travel by coach to Milan, Italy's northern capital and fashion hub. Our included tour will offer a fascinating overview of the city, including sights such as the impressive Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral, and the world’s oldest shopping mall, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (all viewed from the outside). After the tour, you will have some free time to enjoy a freshly made panini and an Italian coffee, before exploring the shops or visiting Milan’s many museums and art galleries. Then it's back to Como for the night.

You will have another opportunity to discover and explore the towns and villages of Lake Como. Be sure to ask our guide for advice on what to see and do around the lake.
