First of all, our tour guide, Ivan, was an integral part in making this tour so amazing. This was my first time taking a tour with a small group of people on an international trip. This was the perfect sized group - we bonded immediately on the first night. Ivan went out of his way to make us all feel like family. My daughter and I both had a hard time leaving everyone when the trip was over. Collette should reconsider the hotel and location in Ragusa. We weren’t able to walk anywhere and the accommodations in the hotel were honestly not that great - Ivan did manage to get us all water bottles which was nice. Our tour bus driver Giuseppe also deserves a special recognition! WOW did he do a great job. I will say that one of the things that I appreciated about this tour, was the fact that it felt like we were supporting local businesses. There were many times where it felt like we were able to step back in time and immerse ourselves in the history and the culture of Sicily. .
Ivan was an excellent Tour Manager. He went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and to make sure we enjoyed our tour. The accomodations in Ragusa could have been better.
