We continue to Piazza della Signoria, the city’s political centre for centuries, and see the medieval Palazzo Vecchio. At the Basilica of Santa Croce, we step inside one of Florence’s most important Franciscan churches.
We then enjoy lunch in a traditional Tuscan restaurant. In the afternoon you may spend time exploring the city at your own pace, or join an optional excursion to Pisa to view the Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli. We then enjoy a food experience with a light lunch, sampling regional favourites such as cured meats, handmade pasta and local cheeses. Afterwards, we stroll through Bologna’s famous arcades, medieval streets and bustling markets. In the afternoon we continue on to Venice, where you check in at your hotel and relax for the evening.

This is a chance to experience one of Venice’s most cherished traditions.
