Ready for a Himalayan trek with a softer edge? The "Everest Trek in Comfort" is a 12-day guided hiking tour designed for travelers seeking a scenic yet approachable introduction to the Everest region. Beginning and ending in Kathmandu, this moderate trek follows established trails through the Sagarmatha National Park, offering iconic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse.
Along the way, explore the colorful Namche Bazaar, visit the revered Thyangboche monastery, and discover Khunde and Khumjung villages—home to the pioneering projects of Sir Edmund Hillary’s Himalayan Trust. The itinerary balances gentle walking with opportunities to engage with Sherpa culture, making it an appealing trip for those who want to experience the majesty of the Everest region without the rigors of a high-altitude expedition.
The unique selling point of this trekking tour package is its focus on comfort and cultural immersion, providing a rewarding Himalayan experience accessible to a wide range of active travelers.
Our trip, Everest Region in Comfort, was just fabulous! I cannot recommend it highly enough! Everything seemed to go flawlessly....if that wasn't the case, the staff made sure we didn't know! The views were worth every single step!
This trip was my intro to trekking and Nepal. At 67, I’m a late bloomer but loved every minute. The guide, porters and cook were fabulous, in fact, overfed us and worried we might gain weight there was so much. The scenery alone is worth the effort but the WE crew from meeting us at the airport to dropping us off, post trek were just brilliant. Subash was our guide and he walked beside me, encouraging me the whole trek, even when my legs said no more, Subash always assisted in me meeting my goals. Thanks Subash & WE, it’s a life long dream fulfilled.
I want to give a big thanks to our Sherpa tour guide who is very caring, funny, knowledgeable and communicative! I will definitely nominate her to be my tour guide if I go back to Nepal trekking again! The food was delicious and I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely choose World Expendition again next time no matter where I go!! I felt safe, cared and surrounded by positive energy all through my Everest trek by comfort trip. Very happy.
