Our Annapurna Chitwan experience was fantastic. Our guide Yangjin was really amazing, so kind and thoughtful and she was very organised and accommodating to our needs. Tula, Kamal, their support team and the porters were wonderful. The food was varied and plentiful and pretty tasty. Kamala was a great cook. Don’t be fooled that this hike is ‘easy’, it is quite challenging in parts but the trekking crew is very supportive and observant to your needs. Lots of water breaks and tea/ lunch breaks well timed.
I have nothing but great things to say about World Expeditions. From the start, their team was responsive and helpful by answering all my questions promptly by email or through my travel agent. I took a bit of a gamble by booking eight months in advance as the first participant, hoping the trip would be guaranteed and it did. In the end, four of us from Australia, the Netherlands, and Canada came together, quickly bonded, and shared an unforgettable experience. Everything was well organized from arrival. My airport pickup was seamless, and we met our experienced and knowledgeable guide, Yangin, for a pre-tour briefing before heading out to dinner together to get acquainted. The following day, we began our Annapurna Chitwan tour. Yangin and her team of 6 — assistant guide (Tula), cook (Kanal), kitchen support staff, and porters made the trip truly special. We learned a great deal about the villages we passed through and about Nepal in general, and the food far exceeded my expectations. Throughout, we felt safe, supported, and well cared for. Yangin’s calm, attentive demeanor and strong organization skills stood out, and they carried a medical kit (fortunately, it wasn’t needed). Overall, this was a well-organized, good introductory tour to experience the Annapurna mountains and trails in Nepal and just be present.
Couldn't have asked for a better trek support team and guide. Everything went smooth which caused me to fully focus on enjoying the trip.
Very well organised trip. Great guides and porters. Well paced. Would not hesitate to use World Expeditions again for our next adventure.
