WE were fantastic and made the trek one of the best things I've ever done. Thanks so much WE
Bikesh was our guide and he did a fantastic job , had some sickness to deal with within the group , plus all the logistics. At no stage did he not have the answers to any issues or problems. The trip was well planned and yet flexible enough to alter days as needed, especially when the group got run down.
Extremely well structured hike with allocation and awareness of altitude acclimatisation in program. Guides and porters fantastic in their care and abilities (thanks Bikash). Unfortunate drop in accommodation standards at Gorak Shep due to Everest Basecamp crowds. Camp sites and other tea houses were fantastic.
Beautifully planned and guided. Exceeded all expectations. Incredible.
Absolutely sensational. Yes a challenging trek, it had hard sections, but worth every step. So glad we choose the 18 days, it really immerses you properly in the environment and the incredible locations, and you are much better acclimatised to the altitude as well. Our guide Bikash (along with Saga and Ita) was exemplary, they simply couldn't have done a better job. This trek will live with me forever. Planning a return but not sure how I'll better this one ...
World Expeditions were absolutely fantastic. Can't fault their execution of the entire trip. From the support in Sydney to the fantastic guides and contacts in Nepal. They have thought of everything. I constantly felt reassured that I was with WEX, while away. Great job and congratulations to all. I will definitely be back.
The Everest High Passes was an extraordinary adventure. The support team was amazing and looked after us extremely well, with fabulous meals and good humour. Our guide, Subal, was exceptional - very knowledgeable, kept a close eye on everyone and calmly sorted out our logistical problems. Of all the other trekkers we met, I felt that we had the best team.
This trip to Nepal truly lived up to my high expectations. The country’s beauty was matched by the expertise of our guides. Subal, in particular, was outstanding—his quiet confidence and deep knowledge made every moment memorable.
A really well planned and executed trip. Any challenges were overcome by our guides and World Ex staff
What an amazing experience. Such a professional and well organised team. I felt confident and reassured the entire way. The guides and support crew were fantastic.
The trip from start to finish was excellent.
I completed the Everest Three Passes trek, an absolutely superb trip. Subal, Dinesh, Santosh, Amber and the team were brilliant. Subal in particular was always on the look out for the well-being of the group. The views and hiking on the trip were unparalleled, and as may be stereotypical to say, I learnt a lot about myself. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
the overall trek was awesome. Great team of other trekkers and the Trek leader and the Sherpa's were awesome. Very small thing - it shouldn't be called "Everest 3 high passes in Comfort". There was no comfort involved apart from the Radisson Hotel in Kathmandu
A well organised trek by a competent company
There were many things that exceeded my expectations on this trip. The scenery was spectacular. The guides and the people we encountered on our trip were incredibly generous. The eco camps were excellent. The food was varied and delicious. However, great preparation is the key to success on this trip. Altitude and cold weather impacts every aspect of your health - appetite, sleep patterns, physical stamina, immunity and resilience. Fortunately we had no rain or snow during our trek. I appreciated the guides spotting the wildlife in the area.
A Fantastic adventure that I will never forget!
Great trip, well planned, well organised whilst on the trek, and flexible enough to allow for a few requests to ensure the group’s needs were met. Great guide and awesome sherpa/porter team make it all come together for an unforgettable experience
If you're wavering between this trip and Everest Base Camp and have the time to do this one instead, please, please do it! You get off the beaten track much more and away from the hoardes which you can find on the normal base camp route. It's a physical challenge to achieve the 3 high passes, but the itinerary is such that you have time to acclimatise properly (unlike some companies). The guides, porters and cooks are all wonderful.
WEx organised and led an excellent trip across the three passes and I would recommend them if you are planning an adventurous trip. All leaders, guides cooks and porters were locals and we were particularly impressed how they looked after their cooks and porters. The leader had a consultative and flexible approach to the trip and enhanced the experience. Also the individual welfare of all trekkers was well cared for. No one dropped out, the acclimatisation process was excellent with no one having serious impacts. Overall a truely special experience.
We were recommend World Ex by a friend and I can safely say we'll be doing the same. Our High Passes trek was incredible. Apart from the adventure itself, the team of guides, porters and kitchen staff were exceptional. A well oiled machine that took care of everything so all we needed to do was enjoy our surroundings. Our guides in particular kept a careful eye on all of us and made sure we were safe at all time, communicated well and had everything organised. Our contact at home, Pam, was also wonderful putting it all together for us and answering our many questions along the way. We can't rate the World Expeditions team highly enough. Thank you World Ex!
