Everest Base Camp & Kalapatthar Trek

I had wonderful experience during my EBC hiking trip that I did in April 2024 through this company. Their guide and porters lead us complete this trip comfortably and successfully all the way.

Dream to go to Everest Base Camp, turn into reality through this company. EBC Tracking was getting tougher as it gets in later half of ascend, well our guide ‘Rameshji’ and porter ‘Sumanji’ were there to assist us in all possible ways. Both treat us as “Maharaja” throughout our journey and because of them I made to EBC and for that I am very grateful to them. Nepalese hospitality is beyond imagination, never seen anywhere such a selfless service. The trip was well organized by Krishna and Kumbh, who were very transparent, well communicated and very professional about everything from airport pick up to accommodation and throughout the journey. Thank You everyone who supported me for making EBC Tracking the trip of my life.

We were a team of 4 did EBC hike in Apr 2024. Krishna & his team did an excellent job in co-ordinating the whole trip. The communication was intact as we agreed upon from start to finish. There were few interruptions while on our journey due to weather, but Krishna acted promptly upon the situation, made alternations for us to continue without delay. Chandra the sherpa and two porters were awesome. They never rushed us, made us comfortable for a successful trip. Their hospitality exceeded my expectation. I would definitely come back for other mountains and it will be through this travel operator At last we all became a good friends. Thank You Krishna/Chandra for making this trip happen. We had a great time working with this trekking company. From the start they were open about the challenges that we may face and suggestions to handle them. Also, they were very accommodating for any changes we had during trek. Special kudos to our Sherpa and porters, they were there very step of way. Seriously we couldn’t have done without their support. They did much more than providing guidance and carry our bags! I would highly recommend them anyone who is looking to trek EBC or any trek in Nepal.

We have great experience with my girlfriend to the EBC and Kalapatthar trek with this local travel specialist. Chris is so responsible and kind person and he respond at all my questions always immediately and also he was so kind to reschedule our trek because at first booking we need to cancel it because we become sick from covid and we reschedule for next season. His brother Khum pick up use from the airport and bring us to the hotel and as well he brought us to the airport when we finished our trip. Our guide Sumba and porter Pasang make our Trekking great and unforgettable experience. They were professional, kind and organised and we didn't have no problem at all during the Trek. They always tried to make us feel comfortable. We will definitely will come back.

I did the EBC & Kala Pathar trek with Nepal Climbing team in Oct-23, I wanted to write in a review about my experience with this travel and expedition company. I had been planning to go to EBC for a few years now and finally it all came together in 2023, i was going through a lot of blogs, websites and youtube videos before deciding on the operator for this trip. Thats when this company was referred by a friend who did the EBC trek in the past. Right from the first communication with Krishna Subedi, the team was very professional, patient in answering myriad of questions i had about the trip. Krishna gave a call and walked me through the itinerary, cost and the preparation that i need to do to be able to experience a nice trek. Even though i had spoken with Krishna a few times, I was still skeptical prior to the trip worried about arrangements and the over all planning around the trip. But as soon as i landed in Kathmandu, I was escorted from the airport and was absolutely taken care of throughout the entire duration of the trip. The hotel arrangements in Thamel was very good, the crew also guided and helped me around the Thamel markets to get some of the hiking gears. Krishna introduced me to the guide, who spoke good English and Hindi. And then the trip started, the arrangements were perfect, we were fortunate on the weather part, no delays in getting to Lukla and then onwards we were able to follow the itinerary - all the villages and tea houses we stayed. The hotel and arrangements were top class. Clean and hygienic tea houses were provided. The guide Neema Sherpa was very knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. He answered all the questions i had, spent a lot of time clicking pictures and videos and he was a very good friend through out the journey. And after the return to Kathmandu, again the stay provided by the company was really good and a hospitable place with nice food. My entire experience due to these professional arrangements was very smooth. Over all i had a fantastic trekking experience through the help of the guide Neema and the team led by Krishna, i would highly recommend any one to engage Krishna and team for a terrific trekking experience.

Had a great trip with this local travel specialist for Everest base camp. Was a seamless experience from landing in Kathmandu to getting to my hotel that they arranged. Managed to get to Lukla with no problem as everything is arranged for you. Chris provided great advice before I got to Nepal and Ramesh was a great guide through the Himilayayas and giving you bits of history and telling you about the culture of Nepal. I didn't make it to base camp due to altitude sickness. However, when I got back to Khatmandu, Kris and Ramesh made the rest of my trip an unforgettable experience by arranging a driver to take me around Kathmandu to see the tourist sites that I asked to see. Overall, I would suggest booking with this agency as I surely will when I got back to do the Annapurna base camp route.

We have booked a 3 week trip with Krishna, first Nepal and then onward to Bhutan. The trip itself was wonderful, but one of the reasons for that was Krishna’s ongoing help and flexibility whenever issues arose. 1. Baggage delayed: The airline with which we came from Europe lost our baggage and hence we could not start our hike on the planned date. When we called Krishna to tell him about it, he organised everything without any trouble: Rebooked our flights, lodges, guides, etc. 2. We then finished the hike a day faster than expected and reached Lukla a day earlier. Getting out of Lukla can be a real nightmare and we met people who organised trekking there and had to wait 5 days to get on a flight back to Kathmandu. Krishna managed to get us on a flight the very same day we reached Lukla. 3. Other things to note: I would always recommend to book with those guys. we met many hikers who went without guide and paid more than we did, the guide himself will make sure you will pay the right prices everywhere. I have already booked a few times with Khum and Krishna and every time it worked out perfectly. Thank you for everything.

If it is your first time like me then you wont find words to describe the beauty of trekk amd the people and everything that comes with it. It was a bit tough but i made it and it was an amazing experience, especially when you are with the right company, even the porters were awesome people, kind, respectful, fun.

Id been wanting to do the Everest Base Camp Trek for years. The scenery was spectacular from day one. The change in elevation isnt easy but the journey includes a couple of acclimatization days. I trekked in March, and be prepared for a big change of temperature from day to night. Days can be warm, hitting t-shirt weather by mid-day, but the nights dip below freezing. The guesthouses arent heated, so youll be needing those down jackets and warm sleeping bags. The weather was mostly clear and sunny, but a snowstorm set in as we neared base camp, so be prepared for all weathers. Shades, sunscreen, gloves, hats and scarfs are a must. There are many little villages along the route, so theres always somewhere to call in for lunch, and numerous shops if you need any more hiking supplies, most noticeably in the town of Namche in which youll spend a couple of days. Wifi and charging services can be found in most guesthouses, though these will not be free beyond Lukla. Our guide Nuri was excellent, always cheerful, knowledgeable and making sure we were OK. And a big thanks to our porters Durgha and Abhinash. I has initially thought about trying to carry all my own stuff on the trek, but opted for a porter the day before the trek. And Im very glad I did, it was a tough walk at times even with just my day bag. Please note that flights between Kathmandu and Lukla can be cancelled in the case of bad weather. So always book your flights onwards from Kathmandu a couple of days after the trek ends in case you have problems getting back.

The Trekking to Everest Basecamp was a lifetime experience. The closeup view of Mount Everest and the Panorama from Kalapattar was stunning and worth every step!
