Experience the thrill of adventure on this 14-day trekking and climbing tour through Nepal’s Himalayas, where you’ll journey to Everest Base Camp and ascend Island Peak (Imja Tse) at 6,189 meters. Starting with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the route weaves through legendary Sherpa villages—Phakding, Namche, Tengboche, and Lobuche—culminating at the iconic Everest Base Camp on Day 8.

From there, the expedition shifts to Island Peak, an emerging favorite in the Everest region, suitable for climbers of all levels. Day 11 offers the unforgettable challenge of summiting Island Peak, followed by a rewarding descent to Chhukung. The trek concludes with a return to Lukla and a flight back to Kathmandu.

day 1 - Kathmandu - Lukla flight and trek to Phakding (2796m)

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Kathmandu and drive you to the airport. Catch a flight to Lukla. You will get the chance to see the majestic Himalayas in case the weather is clear. Upon landing in Lukla airport, trek to Phakding (2796m).

day 2 - Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440m).

The journey today is involves both uphill and downhill trekking before it comes to an end in Namche Bazaar (3440m), the centre of trade in and commerce in the Everest region.

day 3 - Namche Bazaar acclimatization day

Take rest in Namche and allow your body to acclimatize today.

day 4 - Namche Bazaar - Tengboche (3860m)

Head for Tengboche from Namche. Tengboche is known all over the world for its famous monastery, one of the largest in the region.

day 5 - Tengboche - Pheriche (4410m)

The journey from Tengboche to Pheriche (4,410m) will take you more than 4,000m above sea level for the first time during the trek.

day 6 - Pheriche acclimatization day

Take a break today and allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude. Since you are heading both for Everest Base Camp and Island Peak, you need to prepare yourself.

day 7 - Pheriche - Lobuche (4,910m)

The land becomes more arid vegetation more sparse as you trek to Lobuche, a small Sherpa settlement nearly five thousand meters above sea level. Navigate the trail carefully while enjoying stunning views of the Himalayas.

day 8 - Trek to Gorakshep (5,140m) & Everest Base Camp (5,364m)

Today is the day when you reach the base camp of the world's highest mountain via Gorakshep, a frozen, sandy lakebed. You feel surrounded by the mountain as you trek to the base camp. Return to Gorakshep after spending some time at the base camp and stay there overnight.

day 9 - Gorakshep - Kala Patthar and trek to Dingboche

Head for Kala Patthar in the morning and enjoy a panoramic views of the Himalayas, including that of Mount Everest. Spend sometime there before trekking back to Dingboche, where you will spend the night.

day 10 - Dingboche - Island Peak Base Camp (5,050m)

The second part of this journey involves travelling to the base camp of Island Peak. Check your climbing gear and prepare for yet another big day.

day 11 - Climb Island Peak (6,165m) and trek to Chhukung

Summit Island Peak today under the watchful eyes of your Sherpa guide. You will find yourself surrounded by the mountains as you scan all around from the peak. Return to the base camp and trek to Chhukung.

day 12 - Chhukung - Namche Bazaar

Continue your downhill journey to Namche Bazaar, where you will spend the night.

The trail continues down to Lukla today. Today is also your last day in the mountains. We suggest you make the most of it.
