day 1 - Arrive in Chhukung
Meet your team members in Chhukung. Attend a pre-climb meeting and get the details of the upcoming adventure.
day 2 - Chhukung - Island Peak Base Camp
The trail to Island Peak Base Camp heads south from Chhukung before moving east. Walk past the moraines of Imja and Lhotse glaciers before you reach Island Peak Base Camp.
day 3 - Summit Island Peak & back to Chhukung
We begin our climb early in the morning to avoid strong winds. The first rays of the morning sun provide a mesmerizing view of the Himalayas. The trail gradually narrows down as you head up until it is completely filled with snow and ice.
Enjoy magnificent views of the mountains from the top of the peak before descending back to the base camp. The final destination of the day is Chhukung.
day 4 - Reserve day
In case you could not summit the peak yesterday due to weather conditions, you hit the trail to the top today.
