Well organised, good standard of hotels. Santorini was the best part for me. Thanks!
The Greek music, food, and beaches were unforgettable. It was a smooth trip overall, with everything from the hotels to the transfers perfectly organized. Thank you for such a great experience!
As a solo traveler, I tend to be quite particular about the tours I join, and this one didn’t disappoint. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and well-coordinated. The accommodations were comfortable, and the meals gave me a real taste of the local cuisine. Despina, our guide, had such a genuine passion for sharing the culture and history of her country. I never felt like just another tourist—there was a personal touch in the way the entire experience was handled. I had the perfect balance of exploration and downtime, which made the journey both enriching and relaxing.
Fantastic tour! Our guide was the best—truly knowledgeable about archaeology and history. He knew all about the Greek gods and tied everything together seamlessly. There was quite a bit of walking, which made the pace a bit challenging at times, but it was definitely worth it.
Participating in the "Best of Greece" tour was a delightful experience. Every location, from the ancient sites in Athens to the stunning views in Santorini, was well-organized and memorable. We loved it.
Every location, from the ancient sites in Athens to the stunning views in Santorini, was well-organized and memorable. Eskapas truly knows how to provide an enriching travel experience, and I highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking an immersive journey through Greece.
Nice pace, well-organized, but I would have appreciated a bit more variety when it came to menu choices. The food was generally good, but having a few more options would have made the dining experience even better. Other than that, everything else ran smoothly and the trip was enjoyable overall.
Mykonos and Santorini were beyond beautiful! I was impressed by how smooth everything went from start to finish. The tour was well-paced, and we got to see so much without feeling rushed.
This tour was exactly what I needed! I really enjoyed seeing the ancient sites in Athens and Olympia. The guides were friendly and made everything interesting. The accommodations were spot-on, too.
The highlights of this tour, Athens and Santorini, will remain with me forever. I loved having free time to explore at my own pace, whether it was wandering through the ancient ruins or relaxing on a beach in Mykonos. The balance between guided tours and personal exploration was perfect. Eskapas did an excellent job .
I traveled alone and joined a nice and inviting company, and we frequently chose to share meals. Santorini was stunning with its breathtaking vistas, but be prepared for difficult climbs, high fees, and busy areas, especially when cruise ships dock! Anna, our guide, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always eager to adapt to our needs. Her enthusiasm for the Greek Islands and its inhabitants was palpable, and she was always eager to offer guidance. A helpful tip: remember to bring a light jacket because the air conditioning can get chilly, as well as comfortable shoes because this trip requires a lot of walking.
ransfers were good, but 1 hotel, Mykonos, did not have our reservation, were rude, treated us like it was our fault, supplied no water, even though weren't supposed to use tap, Mykonos in general was a very crowded, rude island, wouldn't recommend. Some hotels were more 3* than 4*. First 2 days of tour was nice group, 18 people, last 2 days, 42 people, would not have signed up for that. Hotel locations very good, great views, centrally located. Food was good. Dinners we prefer ordering local food, to be cooked for us, buffets for dinner got old
This is a great Greek tour to learn about the cultural history of ancient cultures. If you like Greek mythology, this is for you. A wealth of facts drawn from really nice people, local guides, artifacts and relics. Tour days are filled with sightseeing, and free time for walking and browsing as well as leisure time on the islands. There's a lot to see, but just make sure you're reasonably fit. Lots of cobblestones and stairs. Those with hip, ankle, or knee pain will take on the challenge. They overeat breakfast buffets, ice cream and other sweets that are incorporated into Greek cuisine. It's a great value tour because it doesn't cost much extra.
Highly reccomend this tour. Greece is a beatiful country, and this tour includes both the mainland and some of the islands. Hotel choices were pretty good, Foods were delicious (Gyros became one of my favourite foods). Our tour guide Yannis, was very cultured and he was well versed in history. He both entertained and informed us. To summarize can't say enough good things, had the time of my life !!
The tour itself was great. Greece is such a beautiful country! We had two guides (Jenny and Tulua) and they were excellent - very knowledgeable about Greek history and culture, accommodating to our group's needs and had a great sense of humor! However, the accommodations in some places were not as good as we are expecting frpm Eskapas Tours. The accommodation, especially in Delphi, was substandard.
This tour was, by far, one of the best we have ever done! During mainlad tour our guide, Nicolas, was a wealth of information and delivered his knowledge quite passionately. Island Hopping part ran smootly. Hotels were great. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with even the smallest interest in Greece and it's ancient history.
We had a wonderful time. Our trip through Greece was sensational and we were very happy with the choice of hotels and restaurants. The food and wine were so delicious. Yannis was excellent and kept us informed and helped us have the most informative and entertaining time. There were only 14 of us on the trip and we all got along very well. Every detail of the trip was planned out so we had a stress-free trip and made some friends too. I definitely recommend.
Overall, the trip was excellent. My husband and I had a great time. We found Greeks to be very friendly and kind. Food was superb. Our tour guide was very good. She would advice us as to what to expect especially as we had flying and ferry ride included so everything went alright. Local guides were really knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
I cannot rate this tour highly enough! Excellent tour from day one. As a solo traveler, I never felt left out. Everything was well organized and coordinated. The Santorini Hotel is very close to Thira so we were able to wander the streets and explore. The Mykonos hotel is not near town, but there was a regular public bus service. The views from both hotels were spectacular. Electra Hotel in Athens is very close to the main tourist sites and Plaka. I highly recommend this tour for solo travelers and couples. I wish I could spend more nights on the islands.
Unforgettable trip ! Greece was amazing, and we felt like we got the best experience possible thanks to the well thought out itinerary. Our tour guide was tremendous, she was very knowledgable and entertaining. Overall very vell organized and detailed tour, thank you so much !
