Itinerary
Travel from San Jose to Panama City over 13 days, packing in two of Central America’s biggest nature-and-culture hits. Start in Costa Rica’s capital, then head to Arenal/La Fortuna for volcano views, rainforest adventures and the option of hanging bridges, hot springs, rafting or wildlife boat trips. Continue to Monteverde via a scenic Lake Arenal crossing, with time to explore the famous cloud forest (hello, birds and brilliant biodiversity). Wind down on the beaches and jungle trails of Manuel Antonio before returning to San Jose and flying to Panama.
