Our 15 Days Everest Base Camp Trek has been designed for trekkers, who want to walk on the extreme hills and up to an altitude of 5,555 m. This altitude affords a striking view of Mt. Everest, which will create an impact on your mind. Our Everest Base Camp Trek begins from Lukla, and throughout this trek, you will see captivating mountains, including of course the world's highest mountain - Mt. Everest (8,848 meter).

Our Everest Base Camp Trek’s itinerary includes awesome landscapes, unique Sherpa culture, old monasteries, breathtaking natural beauty, acclimatization days, and panoramic mountain views, maximising the desires of a hardcore trekker. There is no better trail than that of Everest Base Camp Trek to test your trekking spirit.

If you are reasonably fit and can walk up to 3-7 hours a day, including two days of acclimatization and rest, you can do this trek. If in doubt, we always recommend adding a porter who can carry up to 30 kgs. 1 porter can thus be shared between 2 people (can be added when checking out).
Day 1
Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal (1,345 m)

Our airport representative will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and he/she will be displaying the signboard of Ace Holidays outside the airport terminal. You will be transferred to your respective hotel by the private vehicle.

Note: We will organise your pre-trip meeting at our office or at your hotel on the same day. In this meeting, you are requested to bring your passport, 3 passport-sized photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance. Also in this meeting, you must clear all due balance, sign a legally binding trip form, and a non–liability disclaimer. In this meeting, you are also requested to ask any questions of your trip. Ace Holidays provides you Duffel Bag and Cap (yours to keep).

Day 2
Fly to Lukla, and Trek to Phakding (2800 m) – 3 hrs
n the morning, you fly from Kathmandu to Lukla. Ace holidays always books your flight between 6.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. As you fly to Lukla, you enjoy the glimpse of the mountains from the window of a plane. After landing, you are introduced to your porters, then you start Everest Trek by following your guide and descending to the Dudh Kosi River. You pass through the village, called Ghat. Later you reach Phakding. If you are interested in exploring then you can visit nearby monastery.

Day 3
Trek to Namche (3,440 m) – 6 hrs
You trek along the bank of the Dudh Kosi River, cross this river by the suspension bridges (Hilary suspension bridge) and see the spectacular view of mountains and valleys From Chautara, you see a satisfying view of Mt. Everest. The villages that you come across are Benkar, Chumoa, and Monjo. You also reach the confluence of the Dudh Kosi River and the Bhote Kosi River. In Namche, you see lots of restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, bakeries, including money exchanges and internet cafes. Namche is the largest Sherpa village of the Everest Region, as well as of Nepal.

Day 4
Acclimatization Day in Namche
We take rest in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize in the thin air. Later, you enjoy a short trek up to Syangboche Airport, which offers the view of mountains, such as Kongde Ri, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaroo, Kamtega, Ama Dalam, Tawache Peak, Khumbila (Holy Peak).

Day 5
Trek to Tengboche
You trek along the glacial water of the Dudh Kosi River to Tengboche and see the magnificent view of mountains. Inside Tengboche Monastery are incredible ornate, 20 – foot sculpture of Buddha, the musical instruments and robes of the Buddhist Religious Leaders. You also see puja (worshipping of god) at 3 p.m.

Day 6
Trek to Dingboche (4350 m) – 5 hrs
From Tengboche, you trek downhill to cross the Imja Khola (river) and climb to reach Pangboche, which has thousands of mani stones. The trail also takes us to the quaint, sherpa traditional Dingboche village, which offers the exquisite view of Lhotse, Island Peak and Ama Dablam.Walking on this trail, we take our time to avoid the Altitude Mountain Sickness.

Day 7
Trek to Nagarzhang Peak (5,516m) and Back to Dingboche (4,350 m) – 4 hrs
Today is an acclimatization day. So we will be hiking upto Nagarzhang Peak, where we will witness amazing view of Island Peak (6,189m), Ama Dablam (6,812m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,481m), Nuptse (7,860m), as well as, of the Lho Glacier and Nup Glacier.

Day 8
Trek to Lobuche (4,910 m) – 6 hrs
Today you will climb straight uphill, walk in the vast beautiful landscape and witness memorials of the climbers. You also see the mountains, such as Pumori (7,165m), Lingtren (6,713m), and Khumbutse (6,639m). Lobuche lies at the foothills of Lobuche Peak (6,119m). From Lobuche village, you also see other mountains, such as Cholacha, Nuptse, and Pumori.

Day 9
Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365m) and then back to Gorakshep (5,180 m) – 8 hrs
You walk through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Ahead of the trail, you see the crest of the north ridge of Everest, as well as of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse. By doing a little ascent, you see 360 degree view of mountains. From the Everest Base Camp (5,365 m), you enjoy watching the spectacular view of Khumbu Icefall and Khumbu Glacier. After seeing these, you descend to Gorakshep.

Day 10
Trek up to Kalapathar (5,555m) early in the morning and trek down to Pheriche (4,270m) – 7 hrs
Today will be difficult day but very rewarding one, from Kalapathar (5,555m) you will witness the panoramic view of mountains, such as Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, and Lhotse, where you can take great pictures. On the way, you also see famous peaks, such as Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, towering to the east. From Kalapather we descend to Gorak Shep, a tiny hamlet and continue to Pheriche.

Day 11
Trek to Tengboche (3,860m) – 5 hrs
Seeing the great views of Everest and Ama Dablam, we head off to Tengboche, which also has the oldest and stunning monastery of the Everest region.

Day 12
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 6 hrs
Following up and down trail from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar, you will enjoy the stunning view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. This trail also takes you to the area of the endangered Musked Deer, Himalayan Thar and Pheasant Birds, along with Pine forest, Dudh Koshi river and small villages.

Day 13
Trek to Lukla (2,804) – 6 hrs
After 6 hours of walk, we finally return back to Lukla from where we have started our trek. We would also like to share our trek experience and achievements with other trekkers, as well as we would like to explore Lukla.

Day 14
Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu – 35 mins
During your 35 mins scenic flight back to Kathmandu, you will have an opportunity to have a glimpse of the Mountains that you have recently visited. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Kathmandu. If you are interested in continuing on to Chitwan jungle safari, river rafting or shopping tour in the streets of Kathmandu then please inform our guide.

Day 15
Transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport for Departure
The trips ends here, our airport representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
