Amazing trip. World Expeditions made the whole experience easy from day 1 until the last day we departed. I took my 13 and 15 year old son and we all felt like we were adventuring without losing some of the basic comforts to make the trip feel a little easier. Would highly recommend.

This was an excellent trip both from the activities organised and the cultural insights, mainly from our guides. We were very well looked after and enjoyed a reasonable standard of accommodation and some very good food. I would suggest a change from the catfish curry at the floating village of Mechrey. Most of our group declined to try it given its provenance from a fairly contaminated river source. We all enjoyed our bike ride around the temples of Angkor Wat - a real highlight. I’d also like to make special mention of our first Laotian guide - Souk - who excelled in his role keeping us safe, informed and entertained.

World Expeditions have been fantastic throughout. Professional in every way, courteous, and informative. Along the trail, the experience, and ease with which we were guided to Base Camp was awesome. The WE stamp is well and truly visible at every stop, and every camp or eco lodge. They are clearly a well-respected business across the region.

Communication - prompt and excellent Experience - most amazing trip. Still on a natural high a month later Nepal Staff - they made a difficult trek, enjoyable, informative and rewarding. Their smiling faces and gentle encouragement helped us through difficult passages. It was the most amazing trip and will be forever grateful to our leader Sanjay, Sherpa Govinda, our chef who prepared amazing gluten free meals, our porters who smiled and cheered us walking into camps. I cannot commend Workd Expeditions highly enough.

An incredible Adventure Professionally Arranged

We were lucky to have amazing weather for our entire trip and everything was arranged to perfection. We were advised to upgrade to the chopper from Kathmandu which saved us 2 days due to weather at Lukla. Every day went smoothly with each lodge offering warm and friendly welcome. Our guide Darwa was knowledgeable and looked after us at all times. The Nepalese people were amazing to us at every turn. We will be going back.

An excellent trek, very well structured and very well organised. The emphasis on acclimitisation over the first week ( with some great short afternoon walks as part of the process ) really paid off when it came to the big scents of Gokyo Ri and the Renjo La. The food and service at the camp sites and lodges was excellent ( early morning bed tea and warm washing water twice a day is a huge plus for World Expeditions ) but to title the trek itself as " In Comfort " is a slight misnoma, as the lodges themselves were no different to many I have stayed in on other Nepal treks, and the tents were sturdy but basic, albeit with the significant advantage of raised beds and standing room. We trekked from mid November to early December, so nights were very cold, but quite manageable with the right kit. The time of year meant that all the trails, lodges etc were very quiet, which made for a fantastic trek and overall experience.
