From start to finish, this trip to Ama Dablam BC has exceeded all expectations. My first time to Nepal & I couldn't have had a better experience. 2 really stand out highlights - apart from the Himalayas (!!!) of course: - the food - how do they make such delicious, nutritious, plentiful, sustaining food in those camps? - the expertise & care of the guides - a really knowledgable team. Not only about the walk, region, mountains, Nepal, culture. But when anyone was feeling unwell, Bikesh & team handled it with care & professionalism, understanding and a great balance of compassion, "can-do" & motivation! We all made it thanks to the great team. I am in awe of those porters - thank you SO SO much for carrying us all!!!

Excellent cultural immersion tour. My favorite experience was the meeting with the Vietnamese war veteran. He emotionally shared with us his heart rendering time as a fighter pilot, and his eventual friendship with an American fighter pilot.

Vietnam Highlights

We had an excellent 8 days trip in Vietnam with many highlights. We met new people & most importantly had a fantastic guide called Lucky, who was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Excellent tour - so full of fascinating facts, relics and sites from India's amazing past (but maybe not to be recommended for a first time to India visitor). I highly commend our guide Nab - extremely knowledgeable, courteous, easily understood, caring, professional, a good sense of humour, and a very interesting person - I cannot fault her.

Fantastic trip. Covered so much of Sri-Lanka, but without feeling rushed, from exploring Dambulla Caves and the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (a must see) to trekking Lions Rock and Adams Peak. Number of early starts to see the sunrise and get a head start on the day, but with plenty time to rest in the early evening. Accommodations were great, and varied with some bringing a taste of Sri Lanka culture. Even the Campsite was great with a full walk in tent, hot showers and stunning views of the lake below. Food was always good, lots of packed breakfasts and lunches during the trekking days and plenty of it that the pre bought snacks often got forgotten about. Our guide Chamara was amazing, so well organised and helpful, and great company in the trails. And the drivers, well they were great, so helpful and really kept us safe on those narrow windy roads, the bus was always clean and the big water cooler was always topped up ready.

Best of Sri Lanka

A lovely week with good hotels - my first 'adventure' holiday and as a solo traveller. The cycling day is great for viewing the countryside and getting nearer to rural communities, elephants in the wild (and sometimes on the main roads) including a rarer tusker and a baby, temples enriched by insightul explanations of customs from our guide, climbing the Sigiriya rock was strenuous but paced with good railings for support, interesting tea-growing and processing, The Grade 3 white-water rafting is definitely worth doing and not that scary though you need to be mobile to descend the steps to the river. Good food, if spicy, though Sanjeewa was a helpful guide on how spicy! Very straightforward booking, direct communication by phone and email, easy arrangement of pre-tour hotel to fit with my prior commitments in Sri Lanka. Very interesting tour, nicely challenging for my inexperience of such trips, helped by being in a small and friendly group. Our guide, Sanjeewa, was a really great guide - very knowledgeable and professional but always there to support us with a good sense of humour too. Felt very safe throughout and very careful driving from Donald.
