The Kailash Kora was one of the most intense experiences of my life. The scenery was stark but beautiful, and I felt a deep sense of respect for this sacred mountain. The tour was fantastic. Both Dorji, our guide, and Tenzin, our driver, were outstanding. They took care of everything we requested. Doeji was very knowledgeable and responded to all our questions.

This was a well designed tour with times on the Great Wall where no other tourists were seen. There is a mix of unrestored wall in various conditions and restored parts to hike along. Just what I was after. The tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable and interested in the history of both the wall and China. He was also very patient. The Xi'an extension was also good, but I would love to have had the chance to see pandas and think this should be added to the itinerary. Unfortunately, our group could only fit in visiting on a Monday when the nature reserve is closed.

The essence of Guilin tour was absolutely fantastic, and our guide Lily made it truly unforgettable. She is warm, knowledgeable, takes care of everything and responded to all questions and wishes. Lily shared fascinating insights about the region and local life. We experienced both the stunning nature and the local culture. From the scenic Li river cruise to exploring charming villages, everything was well-organized and relaxed. Lily even took us to some hidden spots away from the crowds. Highly recommended! This trip was a brilliant time; every day you're walking on the Great Wall of China, mostly in areas with few other tourists and amazing views. The weather was kind to us so the panoramas are spectacular. Our tour leader Stone was so organised and an incredible help in a country where most locals don't speak English (my Mandarin isn't too good either), and the food and hospitality at the local guesthouses was great too. Accommodation was better than expected having been described as basic!

The trekking was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding. The scenery was stunning—high mountains, blue skies, and a quiet sense of holiness everywhere. The altitude made it tough, but our guide Lobsang was extraordinary, present, knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and find solutions. I met many pilgrims from different countries, and their dedication was inspiring. By the end of the Kora, I felt exhausted but incredibly peaceful. It’s definitely a trip I’ll never forget.
