An amazing tour & I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Explore. The ride is accuratey rated "leisurely" & it was. The water breaks every 6-7km were perfect. Cold water was provided at every break. Safety was number 1 with this tour & the mechanic from the back would come forward to stop on coming traffic if we needed to cross the street or make a turn. The tour leader's pace was perfect & agreeable to everyone on the tour. Bikes provided were in excellent condition. I rented an ebike & it was given to me fully charged every day. The activities organized by the tour were well organized, interesting & educational. There was some free time given each day. Meals & accommodations were excellent. Clean & well appointed rooms. Most hotels had a pool. Meals that the tour provided were authentic ethnic meals. Food preferences & allergies were considered for every meal. Bihn was an excellent guide. His English is very good. He provided excellent education & organization throughout the day. He was always available for questions or assistance. He was very clear with the how the day would "play out". The only negative I have to comment on was the Cambodian temple guide's English was not good & it was extremely difficult to understand & follow his information. He was enthusiastic & did put in a good effort. The other negative was the hotel in Siem Reap. Upon completion of the tour we stayed a couple of extra days. There was a Cambodian wedding in the neighborhood that played their music super loud for 2 days straight beginning at 4:30am. When I mean loud, it was loud!! Earplugs didn't help & no respite in the room. Extra bass between 10-11pm on the last night!! The hotel manager could not change the music, but did comp us a couple of drinks & a meal. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

Jordan did not disappoint. Having two full days in Petra allowed good exploration. This included a visit to little Petra. Make sure you go to the Monastery. It’s well worth all the steps. A night in Wadi Rum was enjoyable. Cold in December but plenty of blankets. No one had to use the communal tent. We were the only group at the camp. This may not always be the case. The optional camel ride is fun and I’d recommend it. The jeep rides are bumpy but again good fun and the only way to take in the vast scenery. Make sure you embrace the mud at the Dead Sea. The hotels were all very good. Buffet breakfasts. Food at Wadi Rum was particularly good. Restaurant meals for dinner were about 15 dinar (including drinks). Food good and plentiful. The bus was a little cramped for 15 of us but the driver was excellent and very safe. The guide was very good and passionate about his country. He knows everyone. Jordan felt very safe. An Explore representative meets you in the airport and takes you through immigration. We were lucky with good weather. Sunny and dry all week. Good group of people to share this experience with. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Our 15 day trip to Nepal in November met all our expectations. The group of 16 was led by Su, who was not only caring and attentive but knowledgable on every aspect of his country. The trip was full on and involved city walks as well as peaceful treks through the countryside and hilltop pretty villages with spectacular views of the Himalayas. Su ensured we had the opportunity of seeing beautiful sunsets and regularly gave us the option of rising early to enjoy the sunset from the rooftop of our accommodation. Visiting Chitwan National Park was a highlight at the end of our trip where we saw one-horned rhinos, elephants as well as other animals and birds. The bus journeys were comfortable and restful as we passed through villages and saw day to day life of the local people. We made regular stops for bathroom breaks, coffee or just stretch our legs. I would thoroughly recommend this trip for those with a moderate to good level of fitness who would like to enjoy all aspects of Nepal.

This is an excellent tour, covering a lot of ground at a moderate, but completely manageable pace. Highlights are those out of the major cities, though Chiang Mai itself is also an interesting place, much more relaxed and less crowded than Bangkok.

Jordan is a gem! The best destination I've ever been to and I have travelled a lot! A magical adventure! Biblical landscapes, iconic sights, great company, and a perfect pace. Jordan is very safe; the people are warm, and the infrastructure is excellent. I was sad to leave!

It’s New Years Eve. I haven’t finished my holiday yet having remained in Krabi for a further six nights after the Explore holiday. I have done this holiday twice in the past three years and will probably do it again. It isn’t full on touring with long travel days…….even transferring between island by speedboat is nice. Sometimes you need a more relaxing holiday at this time of year. Thailand and the Andaman Sea is the perfect place for this. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was being allocated a top bunk on the overnight train journey from Bangkok to Trang as this was enforced lying down for eleven hours on a narrower bed because of the curvature of the train roof. The wider, more headroom, able to sit up bottom bunks cost 150 Baht ( about £2.50) more which I would have willingly paid for.
