This is one of my favourite ever Explore tours. Stunning scenery, amazing wildlife, lovely locals, Milky Way firmaments at night. It was the first Explore tour for our guide Serji but you wouldn’t have known unless she’d told us. She is very experienced as a guide and it showed. Serji’s love for Mongolia is evident, and she shared her knowledge and insights throughout the tour. The gers were very cosy, the food laid on good to excellent. That is written as an omnivore. If you’re vegan, this may not be the tour for you. Bring your own teabags if you need your dose of builders’ in the morning. In summary: do it!

We loved this tour of Northern Thailand. There was lots of variety in places and things to do going from city to rural settings. Highlights included River Kwai/raft house, Elephant Nature Park, homestay, Maeklong railway market and temples in Bangkok. Our guide Wit was brilliant throughout. He made the trip really enjoyable - we learnt so much from him about Thailand including history, Buddhism, food and Royalty - and he took really good care of us, always keen to ensure we having a good time. He also adapted the tour when we couldn’t visit the royal palace taking us instead to an attraction we had talked about going to ourselves. Our driver was also really friendly and helpful throughout. The accommodation was also good value for the cost of the trip Thanks so much for such a great tour and would highly recommend.

I enjoyed the trip especially the Mt Fuji. The accomodations as well as the breakfast were all great. The tour guides were very patient and understanding and standard of service was amazing. Although every important sightseeing places were covered, I felt the tour could have been a bit more relaxed, especially when providing some time for the shopping.Overall a great tour and I recommend highly especially for a Solo traveler.

I had a fantastic time on this trip. It was exactly what I was looking for - a completely different landscape, culture, religion and language. Our guides Pemba and Bir Singh were fabulous and so generous in sharing their knowledge and experience.

You should include the Chopstick making - we did I on our own & it was fun - liked the Gold leaf Box making experience! Liked the Meditation & Tea with the Minks . Our Tour Guide Tasksuko was excellent !

This trip takes you in jeeps round narrow mountain roads up to amazing scenery at over 4000 metres, with glaciers and snow- capped mountains, as well as, bizarrely, high sand dunes to climb. Warm hats and walking poles are recommended. It gets cold in the open jeeps and at night, too, in June. Islamabad is hot, so pack a variety of clothes. Pakistan is mainly squat toilets. Buckets for washing rather than showers are available in one hotel but the location and scenery made up for it . Climbing into the jeep through the window might be a challenge for some but for me it was part of the adventure . Very few tourists and the people are very friendly and welcoming.
