Culture Trips in Vietnam

First, I have to say that our tour guide John Phem was amazing. He always went above and beyond during the entire trip. We had several road trips and flights and all went smoothly. We were well fed and hydrated the entire time and were greeted daily with hand towels and bottles of water. I cannot say enough good things about John. Also, the local tour guides in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand were very good. Chen in Cambodia and Pat in Laos were very informative and thoughtful, and A in Thailand also went above and beyond. She helped us shop carefully in the local markets. My only critique is that we were a little over-programmed. I would have liked a little more free time at the hotels. We stayed in beautiful places but felt we could not enjoy the amenities because we were always on the go. I do like that Collette builds in impactful excursions and visits to local homes, however. They provide for an enriching experience. If there were a way to provide those and allow for a little more free time that would be perfect. Thank you for a special trip. I highly recommend it and Collette to family and friends.

This trip exceeded our expectations with its well-balanced itinerary—an amazing mix of cultural landmarks, breathtaking landscapes, and relaxing beach time. The tour guides were insightful and made each stop even more memorable, especially during the Sapa trek. A special thanks to Long Pham, who helped coordinate everything so seamlessly. He kept track of our journey, ensured we were well taken care of, and made sure we had all the support we needed throughout the trip. I highly recommend this experience to anyone planning to explore Asia!

The tour was comparable to South Africa and John was the nicest and most caring tour guide I’ve had. His personality and wit helped mold the group into a family and he was especially attentive when I could use an extra hand. I loved seeing the natural wonders of Vietnam and Laos. All the airport transports were a pain and rook so much extra time. We needed the whispers in Bangkok to hear everything that was being said.

We have just returned after 15 days through four destinations in Southeast Asia. The team organized the trip perfectly. We visited most of the highlight attractions. The culture, history, and cuisine in all four countries were rich and diverse. I was especially impressed by the Vietnamese food and the temples in Thailand. I hope we will have more time to explore Cambodia and Laos in the future. We will definitely choose them again for our next adventure in Southeast Asia. Highly recommended!

I had a great time with my family on this 8-day Northern Vietnam tour. The travel team did a fantastic job organizing the trip. Everything was on time, including the guides and drivers. Our accommodations were well-located, clean, and offered great service. All the places we visited were beautiful and unique in their own way. The tour from the beginning to the end was fabulous and action packed. Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos are each different in exciting ways. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful and the Vespa ride is not to be missed. Our tour manager Andy was the best. I loved the visits to the farms and homes to make noodles and lunch with them, to see how palm sugar is farmed and made and a dinner with a local family to be blessed. The tuk tuk rides were enjoyable and the markets! Bring money because you will purchase. Very affordable.
