It was a more relaxed itinerary with 3 nights in each city, which I thought was great. I was able to schedule a 1 hour visit at St Mark’s Basilica in Venice during free time on the second to the last day, you just have to buy tickets in advance. It makes sense to do it then because you are already in the area. I normally do Globus Tours but after this tour, I think I may do more with Trafalgar. It was a very good experience, with lots of delicious food and drinks.

Excellent first trip to Imperial Europe. Allowed us to see all the major highlights of so many places. We would like more time in some of the cities but thought this was a great way to see where we’d like to come back to. Our tour guide, Judith, and bus driver, Dushan, were truly incredible. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing the entire time!

This 5‑country adventure through Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria was nothing short of incredible—honestly, my camera deserves a vacation after working overtime for 600+ photos and video clips! Every city felt like stepping into a postcard, and every meal somehow topped the last (I’m convinced my taste buds are permanently upgraded). Trying to pick a highlight is like choosing a favorite child—it just can’t be done. From stunning architecture to unforgettable experiences, this trip delivered “wow” moments on repeat. And let’s talk about the dream team—Director Judith and Driver Dasun were absolute legends. Smooth rides, seamless planning, and a whole lot of fun along the way made everything effortless. This was my second Trafalgar tour with my family, and once again, they nailed it. The memories we made (and all the food we happily “researched”) are now locked in as core memories forever. Trafalgar didn’t just meet expectations—they packed them up, sent them overseas, and upgraded them first class.

This is a great sample of Germany from the big cities of Munich and Berlin to the quaint little villages like Rothenburg and Nuremberg. I was amazed at the number of farms throughout the country. The food was ok but the local beers were very tasty. The hotels were a great improvement over Ireland And Britain tours we did previously. Berlin did not have much around our hotel but Dresden was probably the nicest city we stayed in. Neuschwanstein castle was a highlight as well as visiting Dachau and the Brandenburg gate. Would have loved more time to visit the Olympic village in Munich. Some of the optional excursions were not worth the money but the excursions with dinner were the best times!!

This is the first time I was on a tour group trip like this. I thought I would hate it, but I loved every minute of it. I didn’t feel rushed at all, and I felt like I saw as much as I could possibly I’ve seen in those few days.

Ten days of beautiful scenery and fascinating history that took my wife and I from Ancient Rome to feudal lands and the renaissance. All brought to life by an excellent tour director and local guides. A Magnificent trip we will always remember.
