Europe Explorer

This tour did a great job of planning and details so everything went smoothly. It was very well organized. Ivo was very knowledgeable about every place we visited. He made sure everyone was safe and taken care of. He had a great variety of music. Best of all he was funny and a great sense of humor. The experiences and activities were varied. The driving by Damian was amazing. I always felt safe. He maneuvered through and around city roads and very tight spaces. He was always happy.

We saw a lot! The tour guide and driver were great! And we saw what was promised. However though the expat explorers web site tell you that age and fitness matter it really doesn't describe the small details. In order to see everything you have to do relentless power walks from the bus to the attraction. Especially on the first half of the tour. The bus rarely got to park close to the attraction ( Europe rules) so in order to optimize the bit of free time we power walked long distances at a relentless fast pace through crowds, up and down stairs and often time on cobblestone. The tight schedule had you rushed, always watching the clock and trying to stay on track. And honestly sometimes you had to skip eating and using the toilet if you wanted to explore the attractions. For us the tight schedule felt like a race and took the pleasure out of the touring. Now in all fairness we are in our mid 60's and 70 and didn't know that Europe doesn't allow buses to drop you and pick you up at the

We had our first Expat Trip on the Europe 18 Day Exployer Tour and it was just awesome! We had never been on holiday to Europe and everything from start to finish was outstanding. Our tour leader Aileen who took care of us 24 7 and nothing was ever a problem. We expected long days, early mornings and late nights, lots of walking and heaps of exploring! We did just this and it was fantastic! Would do another Expat trip again for sure. Thanks Expat.

Pete was knowledgeable & energetic, keeping the excitement & anticipation levels high, while.prioritising personal safety & bathroom breaks all the way. Individual attention was paid to people's specific needs & viewing wishlists, & Sylvie was meticulous about driving in the crowded cities despite local eccentricities. All in all, as a solo traveller I felt I was in capable hands.
