Rome and Dublin frame the "Unbelievable Adventure" tour, a 17-day city sightseeing journey through Italy, Ireland, and beyond. Designed for seniors, this easy-level group trip includes hotel accommodation, meals, and all transport, letting you relax and enjoy stops in London, Rouen, and more. day 1 - Rome

Welcome to Rome! Upon your arrival, we’ll be there to transfer you to your hotel. Later, our guide will meet you and provide all the essential information. You can also find details on the information sign in the hotel reception area. In the evening, we’ll take you to Via Cavour, an excellent introduction to Rome. Here, you’ll find a variety of restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine.

day 2 - Rome

In the morning, we’ll take a threehour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride to admire one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. During the tour, we’ll see iconic landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour will end at VATICAN CITY around 11:00 a. m. Afterward, our guide will offer an optional visit to explore the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. At the end of the day, we’ll include a transfer to the popular Trastevere neighborhood, known for its cozy restaurants and lively atmosphere. Return to the hotel will be around 8:30 p. m.

day 3 - Rome, Florence

Today, we’ll leave ROME and head north, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon reaching FLORENCE, we’ll go directly to the stunning Piazzale Michelangelo for breathtaking views of the city. We will then walk toward the historic center where, after some time for lunch, we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour with a local expert through the historic center, visiting landmarks such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is like an openair museum. Afterward, you´ll have some free time to explore at your leisure. In the evening, you’ll have plenty of options for dinner, as this district offers many restaurants with a variety of international cuisines.

day 4 - Florence, Venice

Today, we’ll enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes as we cross the Apennines. Upon arriving in Venice, we’ll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we’ll visit the marvelous St. Mark’s Square. Afterwards, we’ll tour the Murano Glass Factory, where you’ll see the fascinating techniques used to create this ancient glass. You´ll have some free time to explore on your own. Accommodation will be in the Mestre district.

day 5 - Venice, Innsbruck, Zurich

We’ll depart Venice and make our way to Austria. Upon arriving in Innsbruck, you’ll have time to explore the historic town center and enjoy lunch. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey through the beautiful Tyrolean landscapes as we cross into Switzerland, arriving in Zurich.

day 6 - Zurich, Lucerne, Zurich

Today´s journey features stunning landscapes with tall mountains and pristine lakes. We’ll enjoy breathtaking scenery in the Interlaken region. Our first stop will be Grindelwald, where we’ll have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up the mountain. Once there, we’ll walk along a winding path leading to a suspended bridge. For those who are adventurous, crossing the bridge offers spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers. We’ll have lunch on the mountain (included) before heading back down. Our next destination is Lucerne, one of Switzerland´s most beautiful cities, where you’ll have time to explore and enjoy the charming cityscape. We’ll then return to Zurich. Note: The guide will offer an optional fullday excursion, starting in the morning. After some free time in Lucerne, we’ll take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, the alpine summit offers breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.

day 7 - Zurich, Strasbourg, Paris

We’ll depart from ZURICH and travel to the French region of Alsace, where we’ll visit its capital, STRASBOURG; a charming city that beautifully blends French and German influences. You’ll have time to explore and get to know the city. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to PARIS, arriving in the evening.

day 8 - Paris

We’ll immerse ourselves in the rich history of FRANCE at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), renowned for its stunning gardens. On our return to PARIS, we’ll visit Montmartre, a charming bohemian neighborhood famous for its artists, painters, and cabarets. To fully appreciate the grandeur of Paris, we’ll embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing the city’s impressive avenues and iconic monuments. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel. For those interested, there is an optional variety show in the evening.

day 9 - Paris, Rouen

We’ll start our day in central PARIS, beginning with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You´ll have the chance to go up to the second floor of this famous iron landmark (tickets included). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine. You’ll have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace. Around 4:00 p. m. , we’ll depart Paris and head to NORMANDY, arriving in ROUEN. You´ll have free time to explore the historic center of this vibrant city, which dates back to Roman times and boasts charming medieval architecture and an impressive Gothic cathedral, offering a delightful blend of history and culture. Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

day 10 - Rouen, English Channel, Canterbury, London

Today, we’ll have time to take a stroll through the center of ROUEN. After this, we’ll travel to northern FRANCE. Crossing the English Channel by ferry, we’ll reach CANTERBURY, the religious capital of England, known for its charming historic center. Our journey will continue to LONDON, where you’ll have some free time in the Tower Bridge area, one of the city´s most iconic symbols, before we head to the hotel.

day 11 - London

Discover LONDON on a panoramic tour with a local guide that showcases the city’s culture and history. You’ll see famous sites such as the Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you might witness the iconic Changing of the Guard (depending on the dates). In the evening, we’ll establish a meeting point in Piccadilly to take a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, areas renowned for their lively atmosphere, theaters, and entertainment options. You’ll have plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner before we return to the hotel.

day 12 - London, Cambridge, York, Durham

We’ll start the day by leaving London and heading towards northern England. Our first stop will be Cambridge, where we’ll admire the beautiful colleges. After lunch, we’ll continue to York, where the stunning cathedral, Roman walls, and lively shopping streets will leave a lasting impression. You’ll have some free time to explore. Afterwards, we’ll proceed north to Durham, a vibrant medieval town featuring a magnificent cathedral in front of the castle.

day 13 - Durham, Alnwick, Edinburgh

We’ll travel to Scotland, with a stop in Alnwick, a picturesque town known for its beautiful gardens and large medieval castle, famously featured in the Harry Potter films. We’ll then continue to Edinburgh, arriving around midday. As Scotland’s capital and one of the most vibrant cities in Northern Europe, Edinburgh’s monumental center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle overlooks the city’s steep streets and parks. We’ll enjoy a panoramic tour with a local guide.

day 14 - Edinburgh, Inverness, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Glasgow

Today, we have an exciting journey through the Scottish Highlands ahead of us, starting with a coffee and a stroll in Pitlochry, a charming village. Next, we’ll pass through Inverness in northern Scotland, near the mysterious Loch Ness. After, we´ll visit Urquhart Castle (admission included) from where we´ll embark on a boat ride on the dark waters of Loch Ness. Next, we’ll pass by Fort Augustus with its sluice system and Fort William, a tourist center at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest summit in the United Kingdom. Heading south, we’ll travel through the high plateaus, where snow is often visible, and skirt the picturesque shores of Loch Lomond. We’ll arrive in Glasgow at the end of the day. IMPORTANT NOTE:Groups arriving in Edinburgh from the 15th of November until the end of February will follow this adjusted itinerary due to the shorter days and frequent snow on the roads:08:00 a. m. Departure from Edinburgh to Pitlochry (09:45 a. m. 11:15 a. m. ), a picturesque city in the heart of the Scottish region known for its whisky production. We will visit a traditional whisky distillery (admission included). Our journey will continue to Stirling (12:30 p. m. 03:30 p. m. ), with its impressive historic center dominated by the grand Stirling Castle (tickets included). This castle is one of the most significant in Scotland, having witnessed numerous historical events, including battles and the coronation of several kings. After some time for lunch, we’ll stop to photograph The Kelpies, enormous sculptures of two horse heads inspired by Scottish mythology. Finally, we’ll continue to Glasgow. We’ll arrive at around 05:00 p. m. with time to stroll through the city center.

day 15 - Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin

Today we’ll leave Glasgow and head towards southern Scotland to board a ferry in Cairnryan. Our journey will take us to Northern Ireland, arriving in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, a monumental city that is emerging from its historical religious conflicts. We’ll then continue into Eire, Ireland, with our final stop in Dublin, arriving by the end of the day.

day 16 - Dublin

We’ll start the day with a panoramic tour of Dublin, the peaceful capital of Ireland. We’ll stroll along the banks of the River Liffey, visiting its parks, historic university, and vibrant downtown streets. We will see the exterior of Trinity College. The afternoon will be free for you to explore at your leisure. Note: Occasionally, depending on our arrival time in Dublin and the daylight hours, the tour may take place the previous afternoon.

day 17 - Dublin

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
