Tuscan Treats

Our small group tour of Tuscany was fabulous we had a great mix of Australian and New Zealanders who all got along wonderfully. Helio, our guide was knowledgeable and had a relaxed way of organising the group and bringing them closer together. Friendships were made and continue beyond the tour. He put together a playlist for time in the coach that we all contributed too, great daily WhatsApp notifications of times and places to meet and suggestions for free time or where to go for independent meals etc. Some meals were provided, and these were good. All the hotels we stayed in were excellent, at several locations a local guide was used then some free time given. We got wine tasting, a pasta cooking class, cheese tasting and an olive oil tasting session as well as other special additions to the tour. A great way to travel stress free. We highly recommend Back Roads.

The Tuscan Treats Tour was just what we wanted- a small group which went to places we might not have found by ourselves, as well as the iconic sites. We learned so much more than if we had been in a large group or on our own, and Michele our guide was so helpful and informative.

Tuscan treats was incredible. Great pace, excellent inclusions and the scenery was magical. Our guide Michele and driver Patrick were outstanding and brought the whole group together. Love that the bus is small so there no long waits and you really can get off the beaten track much closer to the hidden gems than most tour companies. We will absolutely travel with Backroads again

It’s was an awesome experience and the best way to see some out of city sights. Our tour guide was amazing and all the activities were unforgettable.

I enjoyed the whole experience, the picturesque Tuscan scenery, the history, the choice of Hotels, our guide and our fun group of fellow travellers.
