Itinerary
Set off from Madrid on a 14-day adventure that captures Spain’s rich diversity from south to north. Wander through Córdoba’s historic streets, feel the rhythm of Seville, and marvel at Granada’s Alhambra. Trace the Mediterranean to sunny Valencia and cosmopolitan Barcelona before heading into the Basque Country and lush Galicia, where Santiago de Compostela awaits. Along the way, enjoy guided tours, vibrant culture and regional cuisine in towns like Pamplona, Bilbao and León. Ending back in Madrid, this journey offers the perfect mix of history, scenery and Spanish spirit at every stop.
day 1 - Madrid to Cordoba & Seville
Madrid - Cordoba - Seville. We depart from our bus terminal at 8:00 a.m., travelling through the plains of La Mancha towards Córdoba. On arrival, we enjoy a guided sightseeing tour, visiting the city’s magnificent Mosque-Cathedral and the atmospheric Jewish Quarter. We then continue to Seville.

day 2 - Exploring Seville
This morning, we explore Seville on a city sightseeing tour, taking in MarÃa Luisa Park, the impressive Plaza de España, and the exterior of the city’s grand Cathedral with its famous bell tower, the Giralda. We then wander through the typical Santa Cruz Quarter, a maze of narrow lanes and flower-filled courtyards.
In your free time, you may wish to take an optional cruise along the Guadalquivir River, offering fine views of the Gold Tower and the Expo 92 site, or visit the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, you may also attend an optional flamenco show.
day 3 - Seville to Granada & the Alhambra
Seville - Granada. After breakfast, we travel to Granada for a guided tour of the spectacular Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its enchanting Generalife Gardens. Dinner and overnight stay.
You may also choose an optional evening visit to the Sacromonte caves to experience a traditional Gypsy flamenco performance.
day 4 - Granada to Valencia
Granada - Valencia. We journey via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean coast and the lively city of Valencia.
day 5 - Valencia to Barcelona
Valencia - Barcelona. After breakfast, there is free time to explore Valencia at your own pace. Later in the morning, we depart for Barcelona. On arrival, we check in and have time at leisure.
Please Note: For logistical reasons, the Barcelona sightseeing tour may take place this afternoon.
day 6 - Exploring Barcelona
This morning’s guided sightseeing tour includes Montjuïc Park with its panoramic views, the Olympic Ring, the Columbus Monument and the historic Gothic Quarter. The afternoon is free to explore the city independently.
An optional evening tour is available to discover Barcelona’s wide boulevards, illuminated buildings and lively fountains by night.
day 7 - Zaragoza & Pamplona
Barcelona - Zaragoza - Pamplona. After breakfast, we travel to Zaragoza for a brief stop and free time to visit the impressive Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, Patroness of the Hispanic world. We then continue to Pamplona, renowned for its San FermÃn festival and charming old quarter.
day 8 - Bilbao & Santander
Pamplona - San Sabastian - Bilbao - Santander. We head to San Sebastián, one of northern Spain’s most elegant cities, where you’ll have free time to stroll along La Concha Bay or explore the old town. We continue to Bilbao, capital of the province of Biscay, for a brief stop to admire the striking Guggenheim Museum building. The journey then continues to Santander.
day 9 - Santillana del Mar, Covadonga & Oviedo
Santander - Santillana del Mar - Covadonga - Oviedo. We depart for Santillana del Mar, declared a National Monument for its perfectly preserved medieval architecture. The journey continues through beautiful landscapes to Covadonga, where there is free time to visit the Sanctuary. We then travel on to Oviedo.
day 10 - Oviedo to La Coruna & Santiago Compostela
Oviedo - La Coruna - Santiago De Compostela. We set out towards Galicia, arriving in the stately city of La Coruña for a brief panoramic tour. We then continue to Santiago de Compostela.
day 11 - Santiago de Compostela
Today we enjoy a guided tour of this major pilgrimage centre, including the celebrated Plaza del Obradoiro and the magnificent Cathedral – the spiritual and artistic heart of the city. The afternoon is free, with the option to join one of our optional excursions.
day 12 - Santiago de Compostela - RÃas Bajas - Vigo
Santiago de Compostela - Rias Bajas - Vigo. Breakfast and departure towards the RÃas Bajas, or Spanish Fjords, an area of striking coastal scenery. We make a brief stop on La Toja Island before continuing to O Grove, where you can join an optional catamaran cruise to see the oyster and mussel farms, including a tasting of fresh mussels and Ribeiro wine. We then continue to Vigo, with free time upon arrival. Optional excursion to Santa Tecla available
day 13 - Vigo - León
Vigo - Leon. We travel inland through the region of Castilla y León, arriving in León, a city rich in history and artistic heritage. Enjoy free time to visit its magnificent Gothic Cathedral or wander through the old town.
day 14 - Salamanca & Madrid
Leon - Salamanca - Madrid. Departure for Salamanca, where we make a brief stop and enjoy free time to explore the old town and its splendid Baroque-style Plaza Mayor. We then continue to Madrid, where our journey concludes.
You will dropped on Ferraz Street, near the Plaza de Espana at approximately 17:30, though this time is subject to external factors such as traffic and passenger delays.
