Which treasures lie in the pathways that follow rugged mountains, and through the alleyways of quaint towns with pretty names? This is a journey of two parts. The first: an interwoven ten-day adventure of Northern Spain, bursting with life and brimming with flavours that will stretch beyond your wildest imagination. And second: the discovery of something about yourself – whether it’s a new favourite wine, or a town you’d never thought to visit that becomes your personal highlight. Are you ready for your next chapter?
Experience La Gomera's lush plantations, mountains and whitewashed villages. With free days to relax or explore further, plus 3 nights spent in your private apartment, this is our longest itinerary in La Gomera.
The circular walk allows you to fully enjoy this hidden gem of an island and its truly dramatic scenery, all the way from sea level with its exotic banana plantations to the misty ‘forest in the clouds’ that covers the top of the island.
What’s more, it includes a visit to the village of Hermigua, idyllically set in the middle of a ravine, which is covered in both sides by countless terraces.
La Gomera has survived from the frenzy of development seen elsewhere in the Canary Islands and has retained an old-world rural feel, with homesteads, small vineyards and rocky peaks set in an amazing crown of laurel cloud forest.
The island has a relaxed atmosphere and, although you will not come across any hordes of tourists, what you will find is a good infrastructure of roads, amenities and services, as well as a great range of affordable, traditional restaurants and small family-run hotels.
Can you imagine it? A 12-day adventure along the Mediterranean coast that hits 3 countries, 4 cities and the prettiest parts of southern France? Imagine it no longer. One day you’re landing in the sun-soaked streets of Barcelona, the next you and a group of new friends are travelling alongside the sparkling Med together. With included activities like a day trip to Monaco, sandwich snacking and stomping in Florence, and pasta-making in Rome, the memories you make? Priceless, and individually yours.
