Starting in Jagat along the Annapurna Circuit, the route veers off at Koto, leading trekkers through high-altitude villages and the mystical Tashi Lakhang Monastery. The challenge—and reward—of crossing Kang La Pass (5,315m) is matched only by sweeping vistas of the Annapurna massif. After connecting with the Annapurna Circuit, the adventure continues over Thorong La Pass (5,416m), before descending through the sacred site of Muktinath to Jomsom, where your trek concludes with flights to Pokhara and Kathmandu.

day 1Drive to Koto (2,600 m)

We leave Kathmandu early and drive first to Besisahar. After lunch, change to a four-wheel drive vehicle for the rugged journey to Koto. The road can be almost as challenging for passengers as for drivers, but it is incredibly scenic! It travels along the old Annapurna Circuit trek route, through amazing gorges and past stunning waterfalls.
Arrive in Koto in time for dinner.
