The bus rides and boat rides were too long, especially for our 6 yr old and 8 yr old grandaughters. I'm a 78 yr old disabled Vietnam vet and to find out I had to walk up steep, challenging 100 ft. stairs after a grueling 12 hr bus ride in a thunder storm at night was too much. (I would have spent much more for a ground level room but was given no choice or warning.) This will always be the remembrance of my only trip with Trafalger.
P.S. I have been on many trips with Globus, Grand Circle, OAT, Gate One and others and have never rec'd such a surprise. In fact, we have been to Costa Rica before and stayed at the same hotel but had a ground level room on the ocean side of the road..... It was great.
