Beginning in Kathmandu, you’ll explore cultural landmarks before flying to Pokhara to start your ascent through Ghandruk and Tadapani. day 1 - Kathmandu arrival

Meet our representative on landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel in the city. Check into your hotel and take some rest. You are free to visit our office to discuss the upcoming trek if you want to.

Perhaps you might want to take a stroll around Thamel, Kathmandu's major tourist hub, for some souvenir shopping. Join us for a dinner in the evening and enjoy delicious, authentic Nepalese cuisine. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

day 2 - Kathmandu sightseeing tour

Your sightseeing tour of Kathmandu starts after breakfast. See historical and spiritual attractions of the capital city that are also Unesco world heritages. Among the attractions that you will see today are the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (popular among foreigners as the 'monkey temple') and the Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world.

Meet your trekking guide in the afternoon and get your equipment checked. Feel free to ask questions about the trip while discussing itinerary details. Spend your night in Kathmandu.

day 3 - Fly to Pokhara, drive to Syauli Bazaar & trek to Ghandruk

Catch your flight to Pokhara early in the morning. Also known as Nepal's 'lake city', Pokhara is also the starting point for trekkers heading for the Annapurna region and offers great views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare and the five peaks of the Annapurna Range.

Drive to Syauli Bazaar on landing in Pokhara and trek to Ghandruk. This village is a major hub in the Annapurna Conservation Area and is inhabited by the Gurungs. Stay overnight in Ghandruk.
