For ambitious trekkers yearning to walk in the footsteps of legends, the "Everest Base Camp & Kalapatthar Trek" is the ultimate Himalayan adventure. Spanning 15 days, this guided journey whisks young adults and experienced travelers from Kathmandu to the base of the world’s highest mountain, following the iconic trail through Nepal’s Khumbu region.

Your adventure begins with a scenic flight to Lukla before ascending through renowned stops like Namche Bazaar, the vibrant gateway to Everest, as well as Dingboche, Lobuche, and the spiritual enclave of Tengboche, home to the world’s highest monastery. After reaching Everest Base Camp at 5,310 meters, the trek continues to the panoramic summit of Kala Pattar (5,545m), offering jaw-dropping views of Everest and its neighboring giants.

With two days built in for acclimatization, this trip balances challenge with safety. The unique selling point? A bucket-list trek with expert guidance, blending cultural encounters and high-altitude triumphs for those hungry for true adventure in the heart of the Himalayas.

day 1 - Kathmandu arrival

We will receive you upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to your hotel, where you will be briefed on the itinerary and necessary trip preparation.

day 2 - Kathmandu - Lukla (flight) & trek to Phakding

A 40-minutes flight from Kathmandu early in the morning will take you to Lukla. Meet your tour guide and porter (if you have booked one) upon arrival. The trek starts with a short walk to Chaurikharka and descends down to the Dudh Koshi River Valley. Follow the river all the way to Phakding, your final destination of the day.

day 3 - Phakding - Namche Bazaar

Leave Phakding for Namche Bazaar after breakfast. Arrive at the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park and, upon getting past the checkpoint, trek through Josale to reach Namche Bazaar.

day 4 - Acclimatisation day in Namche Bazaar

Today is your acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Want to make the best of your stay in

Namche? The Sherpa Museum is worth visiting, so are the local shops, if you need trekking outfits and equipment.

day 5 - Namche Bazaar - Tengboche

Hit the trail in the morning. Enjoy great views of Nuptse, Lhotse and other mountains. A steep, uphill ascent awaits you today. Follow the trail used by yak herders and head for Tengboche Monastery (you will walk through the premises of the monastery). Stay overnight below the monastery at a guesthouse.

day 6 - Tengboche - Dingboche

Trek through dense rhododendron forests to reach Deboche. Cross the bridge across the Imja River to reach Pangboche. You will get some time for lunch in the village before starting your journey to Dingboche.

day 7 - Acclimatisation day in Dingboche

Stay in Dingboche today and allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude. You can book the optional day hike to Nangkartshang Peak if you want to.

day 8 - Dingboche - Lobuche

Travel past Dusa and Dughla. See the stupas dedicated to the Sherpas who lost their life in Everest. Reach Lobuche in the evening.

day 9 - Lobuche - Everest Base Camp - Gorakhshep

Head for the flat, sandy Gorakshep early in the morning. Travel past Gorakshep to reach Everest Base Camp, where you will meet climbers attempting to scale the summit. Enjoy breathtaking views of the world's tallest mountain. Return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay in a guesthouse.

day 10 - Hike to Kala Patthar & trek back to Pheriche

Start early today to see the Himalayas at sunrise from Kala Patthar. Reach to the top of Kala Patthar after several hours of ascent and spend some time there before retracing your steps back to Gorakshep.

You can have your lunch in Gorakshep before continuing your journey down to Pheriche for an overnight stay in a local guesthouse.

day 11 - Pheriche - Namche Bazaar

Follow the route downhill to reach Phunki Tenga. Take the Dudh Koshi River trail and travel to Namche Bazaar.

Start your downhill journey after breakfast. Travel past Sherpa villages to reach Lukla in the evening. Spend your night in Lukla.

Catch the flight to Kathmandu in the morning. You will be transferred to your hotel from the airport. Take the much-needed rest today.

day 14 - Reserve day

Today is a reserve day in case your Lukla - Kathmandu flight gets delayed or canceled due to bad weather conditions.

Today is your last day on the itinerary. You can explore Kathmandu on your own if you want to before it's time for departure. We will drop you off at the airport for your journey home.
