day 1 - Madrid To Seville
Madrid – Cordoba – Seville. We depart from our Madrid bus terminal this morning at 08:00 am and travel south across the windswept plains of La Mancha en route to Cordoba. On arrival, we explore the city’s fascinating past with a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Mezquita, a remarkable mosque-cathedral that reflects centuries of Moorish and Christian influence. We also stroll through the charming Jewish Quarter, known for its whitewashed lanes and flower-filled patios. Later, we continue to Sevilla, where we settle in for the evening and enjoy dinner together.
Please note: This tour is bi-lingual, and will be conducted in Spanish as well as in English.
Meeting Point: C. de Ferraz, 3, Moncloa - Aravaca, 28008 Madrid
day 2 - Explore Seville
This morning’s guided tour reveals the soul of Andalucia as we visit the expansive Maria Luisa Park and the grand Plaza de España. We admire the exterior of the cathedral—one of the world’s largest—and gaze up at the iconic Giralda bell tower. Wandering through the atmospheric Santa Cruz district, we lose ourselves in a maze of cobbled alleys, leafy courtyards, and hidden squares. The afternoon is free for further exploration, or perhaps join an optional river cruise along the Guadalquivir for sweeping views of Sevilla’s skyline. In the evening, you might choose to experience the fiery emotion of an authentic flamenco performance.
day 3 - Seville to Granada
Sevilla - Granada. Today we journey east across olive-dotted hills to the historic city of Granada. A guided visit of the magnificent Alhambra awaits—a palatial fortress of Islamic art and architecture—and we stroll through the tranquil Generalife gardens, once a summer retreat for Nasrid kings. Dinner is included this evening, and those who wish can opt to explore the atmospheric Sacromonte caves for a spirited gipsy flamenco show.
day 4 - Granada to Valencia
Granada - Valencia. We head north and east today, passing through the rural towns of Guadix and Baza, and crossing Puerto Lumbreras before descending toward the glistening Mediterranean coast. Arriving in Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city, we check into our hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure to explore its futuristic architecture or sample the region’s famous paella.
Please note: On the 22 February 2027 and the 15 March 2027 departures, this tour will stay in Alicante instead of Valencia, at the Eurostars Lucentum Alicante Hotel.
day 5 - Valencia to Barcelona
Valencia - Barcelona. After a relaxed morning in Valencia, we depart for Barcelona. Upon arrival, we check in and enjoy free time to discover this vibrant Catalan capital. Depending on logistics, a city tour may be conducted this afternoon, offering a great introduction to the sights.
day 6 - Discover Barcelona
We dive into Barcelona’s highlights today with a panoramic tour that takes in Montjuic Hill for commanding views, the Olympic Ring, and the Columbus Monument. We then head into the Gothic Quarter, where medieval streets unfold around every corner. The rest of the day is yours—perhaps stroll along Las Ramblas, visit the surreal works of Gaudi, or unwind at the beach. This evening, there’s an optional illuminated night tour of the city’s most dazzling landmarks.
day 7 - Barcelona to Madrid
Barcelona - Zaragoza - Madrid. Our final day takes us through the heart of Aragon with a stop in Zaragoza, where we enjoy free time to explore at our own pace—perhaps visit the splendid Basilica del Pilar or sample local tapas. In the afternoon, we return to Madrid where our journey together ends.
You will dropped on Ferraz Street, near the Plaza de Espana at approximately 17:30, though this time is subject to external factors such as traffic and passenger delays.
Please note: If you book our optional 4-day Palma de Majorca extension, then you will be collected this morning and taken to the airport for your included flight to Palma.
