day 1 - Istanbul, Turkey
Istanbul Airport Pickup & Free Day
Upon arrival to Istanbul, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your accommodation where you will have time to get settled in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure chilling in the hotel or begin your adventure by heading out on your own to explore the city. Istanbul has an intriguing mixture of ancient and modern sites, friendly people, vibrant night markets and charming architecture.
day 2 - Istanbul, Turkey
Istanbul Street Food Tour (L)
Begin the day amid wafting aromas of the Spice Market. This is followed by a sightseeing boat cruise through the Bosphorus, the strait dividing the European and Asian continents where you will admire seeing beautiful palaces, mansions, parks and charming small villages along the shores of both sides. In the afternoon visit Kadikoy market where you will have opportunity to taste the best street food Istanbul offers. You will taste traditional savory and sweet tastes of Turkish cuisine. Overnight bus from Istanbul to Goreme.
day 3 - Goreme, Turkey
Cappadocia Tour
Arrival in Cappadocia early morning. Cappadocia Tour I. You will begin the day in Devrent Valley, followed by Pasabag also known as Monk's Valley. This will be followed by Avanos, a village situated on the banks of Kizilirmak River, famous for its clay pottery. In the afternoon, you will visit Goreme Open Air Museum, featuring the most impressive of all rock-carved churches in the region. The last stop will be Uchisar Village, located next to a natural citadel. Overnight in Goreme.
day 4 - Goreme, Turkey
Cappadocia Tour (B)
Today you will visit Red Valley, presenting an opportunity to hike through orchards and vineyards between fairy chimneys and rock-carved houses. Later continue to the old christian village of Cavusin. This is followed by Pigeon Valley, so named after the hundreds of little windows carved into the rocks to attract pigeons. In the afternoon visit Kaymakli Undeground City, Ortahisar Village and an old Greek village of Sinasos. Overnight bus back to Istanbul.
day 5 - Istanbul, Turkey
Arrival in Istanbul
You will arrive in Istanbul early in the morning. Upon arrival in Istanbul, your tour with us will end. We wish you a great journey forward!
