The perfect peak for adventurers!
Island Peak Climb with Everest Base Camp Trek is an electrifying journey for adventurous young adults and experienced travelers seeking both high-altitude trekking and a non-technical Himalayan climbing experience. Known locally as Imja Tse (6,160m), Island Peak offers breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu.
The trek follows the classic trail through Namche and Tengboche, moving on to Everest Base Camp and the stunning viewpoint of Kala Patthar. From here, adventurers tackle challenging passes like Kongma La and Chola before arriving at Chhukung to prepare for the Island Peak ascent. No previous mountaineering experience is required, though good fitness and a spirit of adventure are essential.
The unique selling point of this tour package is the chance to summit a famous Himalayan peak while enjoying the full Everest trekking experience. With expert guidance and awe-inspiring vistas at every turn, this is an adventure that blends technical challenge with the world’s greatest mountain scenery.
From meeting at the airport till departure everything went very well. All team members summited Island peak which was an unforgettable experience.
Good
Just complete the Everest Base Camp Trekking! Unfortunately didnt make it with Island Peak die to bad and cloudy weather but I promise that I will come back next year to make that happen! The tour operator tried its best to make every wish come true! Until next year guys!
My fully respect to Ms. Khum Subedi & to his company . Must easy to climb .very nice mountain and best view to mount Everest from top.
The trek to the Everest Base Camp was great, the various nature stunning and the views of the highest mountains of the world just mesmerizing. Luckily, the weather was really good at that time and the sky clear most of the times. Unfortunately, I got heavy symptoms of the mountain sickness which forced me to go back after summiting Kala Pathar. Therefore, I sadly can't evaluate the Island Peak climbing experience.
All was good organized. Due to bad weather agency was able to organise a helicopter instead of plane with almost no additional costs. Climbing guide for Island Peak was awaiting us at exact place and time. In overall I highly recommend the agency .
There are no words that can describe this experience. I'm so happy I did and made it to the top. It was absolutely incredible.
Trip was awesome... One must visit island peak and ebc once in a life time... A unique experience.
One of the best peak to visit in nepal... With everest base camp... Eye cathing mountains
All was perfect prepered. My personal guide Lakpa, was very expirience, additionaly he was very helpful, and always smiling.
The trek was great and everything was well-organised. The accommodation was reasonable and all our food taken care of at each lodge.
Trip has been really nice, the local operator planned everything really good. Accommodation, food, trekking itineraries have been super. Guide was really experienced also. I would recommend this company to everyone coming to Nepal if going to trek or climb. Doing climbing and trekking in monsoon time is also nice, there is few people on the trails and the view during the morning is also good enough.
We just returned to Kathmandu from the Everest Region, trekking to Everest Base Camp followed by summitting Island Peak. We saw so many incredible sights and were able to successfully summit Island Peak. It was the trip of a lifetime and we are very grateful that there were no issues or problems throughout the trip. All we had to worry about was putting one foot in front of the other, everything else was taken care of by the local operator.
Island peak is challenging yet rewarding, definitely worth a try, so glad I did it

Great scenery. You meet lots of nice people and the guides and porters supplied by Kh umbrella are very friendly and supportive. I also did Chulu West with Klum.
Just returned from a wonderful adventure with this local operator. Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu was provided at Hotel Yambu, a friendly hotel in Thamel. The Sherpa guide (Lapka) and porter both provided an exceptional service on the trek, I am lucky to have met them both. It was lovely to spend a final evening in Kathmandu with the team and I wish them all the best for the future.
Excellent company, excellent management and excellent company director. Five years I have friendly relations wiht Mr.Khum Subedi. He's a very successful tourism business directory and one of the best men in Nepal. All travelers to advise and give recommendations to choose his agency.
