I have found Tika, who manages a tour company, to be a thorough professional and a champion in customer service. I chose this trek as it was recommended by many on the internet. I had extensive email and social media communication with Tika, as i had many doubts about the trip, and he had been very responsive with quick and detailed answers to all my questions. One of the most important things to consider when we choose a trekking company to do the Everest Base Camp trek is the ability to handle unplanned events. For e.g. managing the delay in Lukla flights and emergency evacuation due to altitude sickness - we encountered both the situations and this company could arrange helicopters in both the cases for us - both covered by insurance. The company was also able to make apt changes in the tour programme to accommodate the delays and ensured we reached the destination and back on time. The guide, Shishir, was very knowledgeable and friendly and the porters, especially Indra, was really good and helpful. I would recommend this company to anybody who are planning a trekking trip in Nepal.
