Itinerary

Island Peak Climb with Everest Base Camp Trek is an electrifying journey for adventurous young adults and experienced travelers seeking both high-altitude trekking and a non-technical Himalayan climbing experience. Known locally as Imja Tse (6,160m), Island Peak offers breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu.

The trek follows the classic trail through Namche and Tengboche, moving on to Everest Base Camp and the stunning viewpoint of Kala Patthar. From here, adventurers tackle challenging passes like Kongma La and Chola before arriving at Chhukung to prepare for the Island Peak ascent. No previous mountaineering experience is required, though good fitness and a spirit of adventure are essential.

The unique selling point of this tour package is the chance to summit a famous Himalayan peak while enjoying the full Everest trekking experience. With expert guidance and awe-inspiring vistas at every turn, this is an adventure that blends technical challenge with the world’s greatest mountain scenery.

The process from finding the tour we wanted to take to getting set up for the tour was an easy process. The other reviews we saw gave us the security of using their website to book our trip. The only item we missed which would have given a 5* was the trip did not include see the Alps up close or a train trip. Well maybe next time there may be one and we would definitely take that trip.
