The Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake is a legendary adventure that has captivated trekkers worldwide, offering an exhilarating challenge for young adults and experienced explorers alike. This 15-day trekking tour weaves through Nepal’s most dramatic landscapes, beginning with gentle paths before ascending towards the formidable Thorung La Pass at 5,416 meters—a true test of stamina and spirit. Along the route, marvel at a kaleidoscope of scenery, from subtropical forests and lush paddies to rugged alpine terrain and the breathtaking Kaligandaki Gorge, the deepest in the world. The journey is enriched by encounters with diverse wildlife, including snow leopards and vibrant birdlife, and cultural immersion in mountain villages. A highlight is the side trip to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes globally, set against a spectacular Himalayan backdrop. This trek’s unique selling point is its unmatched combination of natural beauty, cultural diversity, and the thrill of high-altitude adventure, making it the ultimate trip for those seeking both challenge and awe-inspiring vistas.
For trekkers longing to retrace the iconic route to Everest, the "Everest Base Camp Trek" offers a 16-day adventure through some of Nepal’s most storied landscapes. Guided by experienced mountain leaders, this tour takes you from Kathmandu to the foot of the world’s tallest peak, pausing in traditional Sherpa villages and staying in welcoming teahouses along the way. Built-in acclimatization days and a high staff-to-traveler ratio ensure both safety and comfort on this challenging trek. The trip’s thoughtful structure includes all accommodations, meals, and transport, so you can focus on the journey’s highlights: panoramic views of Everest, atmospheric monasteries, and the chance to witness the unique culture of the Himalayas. The standout USP? Exceptional support and expertise at every step, with expedition departures offering even more immersive experiences during peak climbing season.
The Manaslu trek is one of Nepal's best treks. If you have 17 days available for trekking in Nepal, we highly recommend this trek. It is challenging, especially the day of crossing the Larke pass at 5,135 m but if you are in reasonable shape, determined, and able to walk 6 hours a day, you can do this trek.
Manaslu is the eighth highest peak in the world, bordering the Gorkha and Manang districts in Nepal. It is just 64km East of the previously popular Annapurna treks. Literally, Manaslu is derived from Sanskrit with manasa means “Mountain of the spirit". The Manaslu region encompasses everything from sub tropical foothills to the arid Trans-Himalaya high pastures bordering Tibet.
The Manaslu trek opened only in 1991. Its popularity increased significantly when teahouses become available around 2009. The Manaslu region has no roads or alike and the trekking trails are excellent. This combined with a high variation in altitude starting from around 700 m and getting up to 5,135 m is the reason why the Manaslu trek today is preferred over the Annapurna trek.
After a 6 hours bus ride from Kathmandu, the trek begins Arughat. En-route the trek, you will not only see spectacular mountain scenery but can also visit several monasteries.
If you have 19 days available, you will not regret choosing this trek. If you are in doubt as to physical fitness we highly recommend adding a porter. 1 porter can carry up to 30 kgs and can thus be shared between 2 people.
We are looking forward to taking you on a fantastic trekking adventure.

Along the way, immerse yourself in Sherpa culture and traditions, making this trekking tour a rich blend of adventure and local insight. Mera Peak trek April 2025
In April 2025 we set off on a trek with the aim of climbing Mera Peak. The journey took us a total of 16 days. The trek was very well organised, thanks to our great guide Chhiyang Banapish we always knew what to expect the next day, we always had enough water and food on the way, he always arranged good accommodation for us and togeher with the porter they took great care of our comfort and safety.
I really appreciate that we went the whole way with one guide, who managed to get to know us during that time (I do not recommend going with a trekking guide and changing guides in Khare, they do not know you, they do not know how you have fared on the trek up to that point). Our guide was very reliable, thanks to him and his proper guidance and sufficient acclimatisation, we managed to reach the summit, although I was tired, but he was able to motivate me and really accompany me to the summit. I would like to thank him and our porter very much, as well as the agency. I would definitely use their services again next time.

Smooth and memorable trip!
Even though I didn't make it to the Mera Peak summit successfully due to altitude sickness, the experience I had with this local travel specialist was great. Airport pick-up went smoothly and they even let me buy a few clothing items in Thamel before dropping me off at my hostel. After the trek I spent another week in Nepal and I assumed the return to airport wouldn't be included since I wasn't going immediately after the trek as this has been the case with other companies I've done tours with. But no, they told me they'd be happy to take me to the airport whatever day my flight was. Pretty awesome. The drivers were all very friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English which made for nice rides.
The guide and porter I had for the trek were both very kind and well-qualified for their positions. If I had felt better, I have no doubts that my guide would have gotten me to the summit. My only criticism is that I would have preferred to have had a guide that spoke better English. My guide spoke well enough for purposes of the trek, but I couldn't really have conversations with him about his culture, life, etc because he didn't understand what I was asking. Obviously, this is a non-essential, but it is something that would have added to my experience. He was also a bit young and so didn't always know how much longer it would take to reach the next lunch spot or teahouse. I think in time he'll have a better idea of the pace of his group and will be able to accurately give a time estimate. Other than that, great experience!
