The spring is used for heating all the neighboring towns. Next, we’ll visit the historic site of Reykholt, once home of the famous Icelandic author Snorri Sturluson. The waterfalls Hraunfossar and Barnafoss are our next stop. See how the water flows from underneath the lava fields and hear a story about Barnafoss waterfall. Leaving the beautiful Borgarfjörður area behind, we will continue to Snæfellsnes peninsula, whose stunning sceneries were made famous in the “Secret Life of Walter Mitty”.
