Itinerary

An exciting tour to discover the Sorrentine Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast through its history and flavors. Immerse yourself into an archaeological journey through the ancient cities of Pompeii and Ercolano. Discover Sorrento, a city with a colourful historical centre and a beautiful waterfront filled with bobbing fishing boats, and learn about the mozzarella and Limoncello history and making processes. Sail to the rocky island of Capri, and wander around its tiny pedestrian alleys.

day 1 - Arrival Naples – Sorrento (52km – 1hr)

Upon landing at Naples International Airport, make your way to the arrivals hall where your driver will meet you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Sorrento, where you can settle in before spending the rest of this first day at leisure.

day 2 - Sorrento

Wake up to breakfast at the hotel, before departing for an exciting day, tasting some of the greatest products in the area. A driver will pick you up in the morning to enjoy a private mozzarella and limoncello making demonstration on a family-run farm. You’ll be welcomed into an estate where lemons, oranges, mandarins, olives and grapes grow. After the mozzarella demonstration, lunch will be served with all local products and wine. After lunch enjoy a Limoncello tasting before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.

day 3 - Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento (30 Min By Ferry)

Wake up to an early breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and take your private transfer to Capri pier. Take the public ferry to Capri, where a cabriolet vehicle will be waiting for you. Explore the island and visit the beautiful Gardens of Augusto, Villa San Michele and reach Monte Solaro with the local chairlift to enjoy a beautiful panorama from the top of the island. In the afternoon take the ferry back to Sorrento and upon arrival transfer to the hotel.

day 4 - Sorrento – Naples – Sorrento (100km – 2hrs)

After breakfast, prepare for a half-day excursion to Naples. Enjoy a walking tour of the city center: Cappella San Severo Church, Piazza del Plebiscito, Spaccanapoli, Maschio Angioino. Along the way you’ll taste some typical street food such as pizza a portafoglio, frittatina and sfogliatella! In the evening return to Sorrento.

day 5 - Sorrento – Vesuvio – Pompei – Sorrento (90km – 2hrs)

Charge your batteries with breakfast at the hotel before departing to Mount Vesuvius up to 1000 meters. Then walk with the specialized guide to the summit. Mt. Vesuvius is the best-known volcano on earth; it dominates the Bay of Naples with its characteristic cone. Around midday, time for lunch including wine tasting. Shortly after, you will proceed to Pompeii, where you will join the guide to discover the most significant archaeological site of Naples Bay, buried under lava and ash from Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and lay forgotten for hundreds of years. Enjoy a walking tour of Pompeii that includes a visit of the interiors of the homes, ancient streets, the Amphitheatre, and the ancient Forum. Return in the afternoon for a well-deserved rest.

day 6 - Sorrento – Amalfi Coast – Sorrento (80km – 3hrs)

Your breakfast at the hotel is followed by a day of travelling along one of the most intriguing coastlines in the world. You will stop on the route for a panoramic view of Positano from above. Around midday, free time for lunch (not included) and then continue to the top of the mountains to Ravello, situated at 1100 feet above sea level, the views of the coast below are for sure the most breath-taking scenery. The town of Ravello is the best place to leave the crowds and enjoy the quiet of a village, where most of the historical center is still untamed, and still recalling the magnificence of the grand private residences. Late afternoon return to Sorrento.

day 7 - Sorrento

Wake up to breakfast at the hotel and then spend the day at leisure exploring Sorrento, be that lazing on the beach or exploring the many interesting artisan shops that line the city centre’s streets.

day 8 - Sorrento – Departure Naples (52km – 1hr)

After one last breakfast at the hotel, take a private transfer to Naples Airport for your return flight. We hope the memories of this trip will stay with you for a lifetime.
