Everest Base Camp Trek

For my first trek in Nepal, the agency turned out to be a great choice. My husband and I did the ABC trek, which was customized as per our preferences. Their service was prompt and all the arrangements, including accommodation and food, were on point. Big thanks to the team for their warmth and assistance right from when we contacted him for initial inquiry, until we departed the country.

My partner and I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek and I am 100% confident they are the best company available. From start to finish they were there for our every need. During our time in Kathmandu, the agency representative was always at the hotel in person, greeting us with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. Before our arrival he was always on hand by email and replied almost instantly to every single question or query I sent him, even with the significant time difference between UK and Nepal. I really don't know how he does it. Our guide during the trek was an absolute pro and was always on hand to answer questions or organize meals, permits or any other need we might have. His knowledge of the Everest region and how to navigate it physically was second to none and it was apparent by the many other guides and porters who stopped to greet him that he is a very experienced and well respected member of the trekking community. A special thanks to the porters in our team, who powered up the trail every day carrying close to 40kg each. Never complaining and never without a smile or a fist bump. They arranged our meals in the evening and came along on acclimatization days. Our group of 3 made it to Everest Base Camp. Many did not. I am certain this came down to the expert guidance and support given by the team. Should I ever return to undertake another adventure, it will be with this team.

The operator had been very welcoming and supportive in our trip. Their hospitality had been very great. We had the flexibility to customize our trip and they made this possible in every way he could. Our guide is a good man. He made sure we were safe and received food on time. He was like a brother to us and we had fun times playing cards as well. He looked after us when we were not feeling well. Our porter is a great young guy full of energy. I highly recommend this company to everyone. It is a good and clean hotel with friendly and helpful customer service. The staff is respectful and provide instant assistance when needed.

Awesome trip that the local travel specialists put together and had the most amazing time. They really went above and beyond making the trip as special as it turned out. Hiked to the Everest Base camp during an ongoing pandemic. It was wonderful experience trekking without many people on the trail. The tea houses were empty and had the best accommodation always.

We enjoyed the trek, it was moderately difficult on some parts, had variety and some rhododendrons along part of the trail and not too many people. Weather was good although it gets cloudy by mid morning. Gokyo is beautiful, with turquoise lakes surrounded by majestic snow capped mountains.

It is hard to describe in words how beautiful the EBC trek is in itself. The changing landscapes from lush green to barren beautiful peaks as you gain height. The ever delectable food and adorable hospitality of Nepalese people that doesn't stop to surprise you no matter how extreme the living conditions get. In the end the trek will teach you how to cherish simple pleasures in life. What made the trek more memorable was to have a great guide and team by your side. Many thanks to Ganga & his team for making our trip so smooth from start to end. Be it answering our innumerable questions before the trek or making arrangements through it. It was all made easy for us. All we had to do daily was trek, eat, relax & sleep. We were lucky to have good weather on the first day to Lukla and surprise we had an upgrade to a helicopter ride. If you have an option then do ask for Dinesh as your guide. He was very patient, extremely hospitable & very helpful during our rescue. We were lucky enough to complete the trek till base camp, however, at Gorak Shep my husband got sick with diarrhoea and we were to be rescued to Kathmandu. Our guide, Ganga & Balaram were very helpful in assisting in a speedy rescue. I cannot thank them enough for it. We were on a roller coaster of emotions throughout the trek. Overwhelmed by the beauty of it, thankful for reaching the end but it was two torturous days at Gorak Shep when we had to wait for the rescue due to bad weather. During this tough time I had the opportunity to meet other guides from the same company. The way the entire team came together to coordinate and help us get immediate rescue as soon as weather was clear, was just impeccable.

I trekked Mt. Everest Base Camp last month. And it was the most exciting trek of my life. The white mountain is so massive and so beautiful at the same time. I couldnt dare to climb it but going to Base Camp was also equal accomplishment. Our guide and porter was very helpful. He help me to carry my luggage. Thanks for taking me there.

We booked the Everest Base camp trekking with the help of local tour operator. After the completion of this trip, we were really pleased with the organization and facility provided by the operator. We had a 14 day trip planned with the organization and they did everything possible to make our trip an incredible one with the quality of their services and efficient organization. The transfers, accommodation, guides, sights, food and equipment all finely organized by Mr. Balaram and his team who were easy to travel with and were full of knowledge and laughs. This company did a fantastic job from the first email through until catching our final flight. The guide Rajendra Dhamala was excellent in his service, knowledge of the terrain, and provided encouragement and entertainment throughout our trek. He took good care of us. We are satisfied with their excellent service along with the good for the trip. We will definitely be back to Nepal and will certainly take their services as they made us feel at home.

Excellent tour! The guide (Kul) was very good, very knowledgable and friendly and helpful throughout. He encouraged others on the trip who struggled at times and motivated us both to keep going with a smile everyday. Ganga organised the tour very well. Provided transfer from katmandhu airport to hotel upon arrival and departure. All lodged along the way and food were very good. I definitely recommend this tour with bookmundi.

As a solo female traveller, I've just gotten back from a 17-day package tour with the help of local tour operator, for the Everest Base Camp Trek. From start to finish, everything ran extremely smoothly, and I can say with confidence I felt very safe through-out the entire trip. I was picked up from the airport and taken to an extremely nice boutique hotel in Kathmandu (2 nights before the trek, and 2 nights after), which again felt very safe, and all the staff knew exactly who I was and what my travel plans were. For the trek itself it was just me and my guide (Santosh), who was fantastic - I was able to walk at exactly my own pace every day on the trip, but in the evenings at the tea-houses there were always lots of people to talk to (and play cards with) who were on the same trek. I fully believe I was always given the best accommodation possible, (at each tea-house), and even enjoyed en-suite rooms and showers (and Namche and below) - a big luxury! Ganga - the Managing Director of my tour operator- came to meet me at my hotel both before and after the trip, and ensured my tour of Kathmandu and airport transfers both ran smoothly. Over-all, I felt extremely well taken-care of, and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for a trekking holiday in Nepal, (both groups and single travellers).

We were a group of friends who did the 12 day Everest Base Camp followed by a week of sightseeing around Nepal - Pokhara, Lumbini and Chitwan. Our local tour specialists made sure that we had a wonderful experience and an incredible journey. The organisation and all other arrangements made was perfectly done. Special thanks to Ganga and his brother Balaram for the great help before, during and after the trip. They ensured that all my questions and doubts are answered. A special thanks also to our guide, Bhim, who was awesome in guiding us throughout the trek and very knowledgeable about the area and the trek and ensured that we had a pleasant stay throughout the trek. The week of going around Nepal was also well organised. It's a pity that the roads in Nepal are being done up and a lot of time is wasted in travelling from one place to another. However the vehicle organised by our team was comfortable and fit the 6 of us and our luggage well. The guide, Kumar was also very knowledgeable. Keep up with the good work guys! Without a doubt, I will recoomend your team to my fiends and I will use them again for my next trip to Nepal!

Our trip was amazing from start to end. Although we were challenged by various unforeseen illnesses in our party of 3 we were able to continue with a plan B with one of us making it to base camp.
