We booked a 2 week EBC trek via Cho La Pass and Gokyo lakes with this tour operator and it was totally amazing! After doing lots and lots of researches, they were by far the most concerned, reassuring, involved, always answering our tons of questions and they made it feel so simple and stress free. Karma, our guide, was simply the best! He made us feel safe the whole time and was very caring! His knowledge for the mountains and his country made the whole difference. It was totally perfect from A to Z. Thank you!

I loved every minute of my 11 day EBC trek. The whole experience was well thought out from being picked up from the airport, meeting Khum, the company owner, receiving a briefing and being able to ask any questions. Our tour guide, Raz, was very supportive, attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had the best and smoothest experience possible. The scenery along the way was gorgeous, starting with conifer forests and crystal clear streams, gradually giving way to icy wastelands. It was challenging without being gruellingly difficult. Very glad I went!

He welcomed us at the airport l, he answered exceptionally to all our questions, and introduced us to Nepal world. Ramesh was the best guide that we could have, he advised how to stay healthy throughout the entire trip, explained to us what we have seen, offered safest places to eat and best accommodation; he was shadow during the whole trip, doing everything he could to make our experience memorable. Traveling with my 15-year old son, I wanted to ensure that we hired an experienced guide for this trip, to provide guidance and to increase our chances of a safe and memorable trek. Right from the first communication with Khum I felt that we were supported and had made a good decision. Ahead of our arrival Khum handled all of the permit and Lukla flight details and when we arrived in Kathmandu he was there to greet us. We met our guide Sudan with Khum at our hotel the next day and confirmed the details for the start of the trek, including the plan for getting to Ramechhap airport to fly to Lukla. Once on the trail, Sudan provided many insights and helped us to adjust to the daily activities, but also managed the Guest House accommodations, permit checkpoints and various logistics on our behalf. This allowed us to focus on the trails, the gorgeous views, meeting other travelers, etc. We successfully arrived at Everest Base Camp and felt elated to have accomplished our goal with support from this local travel specialist. Despite acclimatization days and altitude medication, my son experienced acute altitude sickness the following morning. I'm so grateful to Khum and the team for promptly arranging a helicopter evacuation from Gorak Shep to Lukla, which being at a lower altitude was all that was required to alleviate his symptoms. No additional medical intervention was needed.

I had the privilege of doing the EBC trek during the month of Oct 2022. It was absolutely mind-blowing, given that it was my first to the Himalayas. Right from the time I landed at Lukla till back to Kathmandu, it was a ride that will give memories of a life-time. The breathtaking views, the long walks along forlorn mountains, the immersive experience of local cultures and cuisines and finally the first peep at the Mt. Everest; each worth every page in my diary, every GB in my phone that I will cherish carrying forever. But none of this could have been made possible without the wonderful trekking company that I associated myself with. Given that it was my first, I spent hours researching online, speaking to friends who’ve been there before to plan the trip.

We had a fantastic on the Everest Base Camp trip in late August of this year (my apologies for the late posting of this review). All the way throughout our trip we were supported by our fantastic guide Hemanta, our porter Akas and Krisna back in Kathmandu. On the first day of our trip we were greeted at the airport and got a lift to Thamel, where we were greeted by Krisna who ran us through all the need-to-knows for the week and reassured us. (Throughout the trip while we were in Kathmandu we had access to lifts/taxis to different sights). Our guide Hemanta had a worth of local knowledge, having lived in Dingboche for many years and this made such a massive difference to our experience - at all the tea houses conversation/translation with the hosts and getting breakfast/lunch/dinner was easy. I cannot reckon highly enough the benefits of going with a guide! The benefit of going with a guide was evident when, a few days into walking, our guide recognized our speed in covering the distances each day and offered to take us on a slight detour on our way to base camp, up to Chokung! When one of us, unfortunately, suffered from altitude sickness Hemanta was quick to recognize it and was always checking on our conditions with an oxymeter. We eventually got medically evacuated out by helicopter and Krisna and Hemnta were amazing at doing all they could to make sure we got back safe - having the expertise of locals who already know the helicopter companies, tea houses and lots of people in the valley well - made everything a lot easier. Alongside having a guide with us in the day, we were fortunate to have a porter, Akas, who helped us carry bags along the way (be sure to tip well if you want to). Overall it was one of the best weeks of my life, and as someone with not much high-altitude climbing experience beforehand this was very enjoyable - it has only made me want to go back and start on some 6000m peaks. All the pathways on the route are very easy to walk on, with the guides we got to see a lot of the local culture beyond just looking at temples from the outside - we managed to be welcomed into two temples on our way to base camp! I took a lot of photos as you might expect throughout the trip, but as I constantly told my family back home, photos really don't do it justice, you constantly feel overwhelmed by the landscape around you! There are few places like the Himalayas and the Khumbu Valley in particular in the world, and I would highly recommend adventuring into the landscape with this local travel expert.

Our Everest Base Camp Trek with this local travel specialist was an experience of a lifetime. The company looked after us well in Kathmandu and we met the owners of the company. On the tour, our guide Megendra was exactly what we wanted. He kept us up to date with the days plans, gave us different options for routes, found great tea houses for eating and stays. Plus we shared many laughs and had a great time. Highly recommended!

Potentially the most stunning views I have ever witnessed. The top of Kala Patthar and EBC were mesmerising. Our stay at The Science and Research Centre was also a huge highlight of the trip! My guide and carrier did a great job and were able to assist me very effectively whilst trekking. My only criticism was the scheduling could have been organised more efficiently. There was a lot of uncertainty at times about pick-ups, arrival times, transport and so on. Despite minor criticism, this was an excellent trip!

What an amazing trip. The team was incredibly organised and quick response on all communications. I was picked up by Raj from the airport and he helped me drop my bag off to my hotel and went to the local travel expert's office. Krishna gave me very clear brief on the trekking and made sure everything is in order from guides, porter, sleeping bag and flight ticket to Lukla. As soon as I arrived in Lukla, I was picked by by my guide Pasang Sherpa. I could not have asked for more better guide than Pasang. He made sure I am all right from going up to coming back down to Lukla. We almost walked 32km on our last day back to Lukla as I wanted a save a day, Pasang and my Porter Akash was absolutely fine with that. Back in Lukla Pasang made sure that I had a very smooth journey back to Kathmandu. The agency dropped me off to the airport to catch my return flight.

We did it again to EBC with this local travel expert. This time we were 15 people. As usual, the service was excellent in all details. Our guide and my friend Lakpa was amazing... he took care of all management issues during the trip. The food was good. This time we didn't stuck in Lukla due to bad weather. Hope to do the Annapurna circuit next year with them. I highly recommend this travel specialist... Mr. Khum is a very helpful manager.

The trek takes in some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Starting amid pine forests and crystal clear rivers, it ascends up to ice covered mountains and finally to Base Camp itself. It's just the right level of difficulty, challenging while not being too exhausting.

The local travel expert provides an excellent end-to-end service including transfers, accommodation and trekking arrangements but also trip to Chitwan National Park which was as interesting as trek. Chris ensured that our holiday went smoothly and to plan. He was able to arrange even impossible means transportation during election day. Our guide, Praveen, took great care of us and saw to it that each day on trek was memorable and enjoyable. Praveen was responsible for our accommodation each and made sure that it was ready for us at the end of each day by sending the porters ahead with all our luggage. All aspects of our trip were fantastic and I would highly recommend this travel specialist to anyone contemplating trekking in the Himalaya and any other place in Nepal.

I had the amazing privilege to embark on the 12 day trek to EBC. I had no expectations going in, and was actually doing a high-altitude trek for the first time in my life. From day 1 it was such an incredible experience. The tour operator picked me up from the airport, and seemlessly arranged everything. My guide, Dasonam Sherpa (amazing, highly recommend, 10/10, great man) was professional, respectful, patient, and one of the kindest people I've ever met. We got along perfectly, and the trip wouldn't have been as great without him. We saw so many beautiful landscapes, met people from all over the world, and experienced an amazing culture unlike any I've seen. Though some aspects of the trek were difficult, it was the most magical trip I've ever been on and highly recommend to anyone.

We did the 12 day trek in October 2019. Our guide Nuri was an absolute star - great fun and very knowledgeable. The trek itself was tough in places but overall very manageable for a healthy adult. Absolutely beautiful scenery throughout the trek. Some tips: The teahouses were mostly comfortable (though very cold at night as you get higher up!) and the food options were varied and usually tasty. Dal baht highly recommended for all! Hot showers are available at all the teahouses for a price. In the bigger villages charging can be done at the bakeries and bars in exchange for a purchase. For anyone wondering, as we were, whether they should take Diamox prior to the trip, we were recommended not to and were overall fine, apart from the odd headache. A big thanks to Nuri Sherpa for an amazing time. Enjoy!!

Our guide for this trip was Raju Mainali. He and Chris Chhetri worked diligently to make sure our trip was fun and safe and adapted to each of our team's specific needs. Raju really knew the mountains and the trails, as well as the tea houses, and made sure they were the best. He was pleasant and helpful throughout and very encouraging even though the trek itself was challenging. I recommend him completely.

This tour operator is such a wonderful company and employees very good and reliable people. Our guide Megendra is very skilled, had done this trek more times than can count, and treated us like family. He went out of his way to make sure we were doing well and taken care of. Our Porter Prim was very professional and also got our extra gear where it needed to be in a timely manner and made sure to be careful and not damage anything. Our travel supervisor Chris Chhetri was extremely top notch in quality. He worked with us to fine tune different needs and also help with any issues that came up. He took care of any and all things so that we didnt have to think about any logistics.

A fantastic trek through some of the best scenery on the planet, we had a great time staying in the tea houses on the way up and soaking in the local culture. Our guide did everything possible to get us to EBC and back in reduced time after our flight to Lukla had been delayed by three days

Our group of friends booked through this tour company for our Base Camp Trek. I can confidently say that this company is the way to go. Not only was it significantly cheaper than the rest of the companies, but it also included food, great service, and incredible guides. We found ourselves guided through the Himalayas enjoying nice stays in tea houses on the way and fed three meals a day. Our guide Raju was extremely knowledgeable and professional and made sure we were kept safe on the mountain. When one of us would get altitude sickness, he would go out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and getting better. He and our assistant guide Pasang were incredibly fun and would play cards with us every night, sharing with us about their lives and culture. Definitely an authentic experience with guides who were so accommodating and such pleasures to be around. Their intentionality to get to know us was incredible and gained us two life-long friends. We will miss them tremendously. Overall, if you are looking to trek to Base Camp and dont know where to start, this tour operator is the way to go. The service is great, the guides are personable, and the views are unmatched.

There is not a bad thing I could say about this trek and the experience I had. Not only did Raju take care of our needs, he encouraged us to pursue the adventure in it. As we trekked along the way, my dream was fulfilled each day. My expectations were continuously blown away. Raju is much more than a lead guide. The culture of this tour was both friendly and professional. Not only did I feel extremely taken care of, but I also made lifelong friends with Raju and Pasang. The trekking company had arranged best tea lodges and food during our trek. They made us feel comfortable.

Book, book, book !! The only thing you will regret is not booking. I was flying solo on this trip and got about 1 hour into landing in Kathmandu before meeting other people doing EBC and also some awesome locals making my trip anything but solo. It was a last min booking with this tour operator and it just so happens that it was the absolute right decision and choice. I had a private room on every night being end of session and the guide and porter where both really amazing. The more I got to know them the easier we connected and where able to joke, Laugh and genuinely enjoy the trip together. You honestly need to book this trip if your looking at, your meant to do it. Dont stand in the way of your own successes. Book, enjoy and be awesome. You wont regret it. Chad M

This really is a bucket list experience; the whole trek is amazing and our guide Pemba made the whole experience easy and exciting. Thank you Pemba!! The tour company were very helpful leading up to the trek and on arrival in Kathmandu, after a big of waiting around, we were briefed on our trip and given the stated equipment. Kathmandu airport was closed for early flights when we trekked so we had to fly from Ramechhap; the company organised the transport to this airport however due to unrest in Kathmandu they cancelled our return transport and we ended up having to beg another driver to take us back to Kathmandu. The tour operator did reimburse us for the travel but it was a bit unsettling. Our guide met us in Lukla, not Kathmandu, and it was difficult not having a guide on the journey out and back to help negotiate and solve problems. Most other people we met on the trek had guides right from the start and so didn't have to worry about the problems returning back to Kathmandu. Other than that all was fine, an amazing trek!!

I could not rate this tour highly enough - I did the 12 day EBC trek with our guide Hemanta. We were treated like family and no task was too small for him. Hemant went above and beyond for us to have the best trekking experience and because of him and his tour operator we had the best experience. The teahouses were comfortable and warm. The Food on the trek was good. We learned about this operator from a reccommendation and we will do the same. Cannot put into words how highly I would rate this tour.

Is a breathtaking trip and 12 days with nature are a much needed break from our busy concrete jungle lifestyle. A big shout out to our guide Kamal Solu and our porters who took care of our group and managed to multitask when many unexpected things happened. All these ensure our success to EBC

Great Trek, Please be aware that Flights from Kathmandu to Lukla cannot be guaranteed. We had to travel 5 hrs in a minibus to an Airport at Ramichhap on both departure and return. Tour guides and porters from Lukla were excellent.

I had an absolutely brilliant time on this trek. Our Sherpa guide Pasang was absolutely wonderful and I can't praise him enough - such a polite and knowledgeable person who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trek. Having the meals and everything organised was a massive help and everything was well organised and went very smoothly.

We had Elmi as our guide and he was excellent! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to adap the trip to our family. We had to change our original plans as there was too much snow and we ended up doing another treck based on Elmis recommendation. That treck was a cultural experience that we will never forget. Thank you Elmi. If we ever go back to Nepal we wil definitely use Elmi again for his guiding services.

It's a fantastic trek exposing you not just to the mountains, but the very history of Everest climbing and the incredible Sherpa Culture.

I bought a trekking tour from this tour agency trusting Book Mundi`s advice .After paying %10 percent of the tour price I was at the tour operator`s hand in Katmandu.I also made a payment the rest of tour price and for porters to the tour operator. In you mail you said package includes airport pick up upon arrival.When I arrived to Katmandu some boys meet me holding their hands a sheet of paper on which my name is written. They take me to a taxi where the responsabile man was sitting in. Normally they ask money and also the man who was in charge to meet me at the airport asked money too. I was obligated to pay $10 for those . By paying this money I could go to the office of the tour operator`s office easily by taxi.In one of his mail tour operator said me at least 6-12 persons would be at the trekking but I have learned this the day I arrived -it was the first day of trekking-that I was the only man at this EBS.The last day of the trek the Interpreter and the porter ask some tips and I can afford only $30 for them and nobody was glad.In Namche Bazaar they changed my room after I object to stay in that room without shower and toilet.After this village I had a suspicion if they tried to find cheaper places instead of comfortable rooms.Food was not satisfactory but this depends upon the peoples eating habits and I dont want to say anything about this subject. According to me I myself do better than this.I spent too much money and I had small things not more. Mesut BALABANLILAR

The Everest region and Kala patthar deliver breathtaking views and bragging rights of partially climbing Everest. The trek is a fair challenge with altitude taken into the equation. There's also room for luxury where you're willing to spend out for it.

The trek was amazing, never ending of beautiful views. Slowly from the greens of the mountains to the white snow of the higher regions. Is definitely a must do list once in a lifetime.

The reason for doing the Everest base camp trek needs no explanation. The tour agency took care of all the logistics and allowed us to focus on enjoying the amazing experience to the fullest. Our wonderful guide Nuri Sherpa took care of all our needs and was great accompaniment to the trek!

The tour operator and Khum provided detailed and all the necessary information to me before the trip. During the trip, with the trekking guide Dandi, who was extremely polite, friendly and willing to offer help at any time, makes our trekking much easier. Most lodge stay are great. Although it's much colder and tougher for trekking in the winter season, but it's less crowded and more peaceful. Highly recommend !!

The trek was all out extremely well planned from the first day. It was clear what our days were gonna look like, our guide, Dendhi Sherpa, would explain what our day ahead would look like and would also explain what the forecast seemed to look like, which was always great! The lodges we stayed at were very friendly and accomodating, but keep in mind that none of these lodges are heated other than with a warm fire in the evening to get everyone warm before bed time, but that is something which is the same no matter which company you book with. The sleeping bag and down jacket provided were top quality, keeping me warm even in the negative celcius temperatures. The food along the trek was plentiful and also pretty tasy with a variety of choices always available. All in all, loved the trek and all the struggles involved, and would definitely recommend this tour company to take you up on a journey of a lifetime!

The trek as a whole was easy to book and communication with the organisations head Mr Khum by email was very appreciated and timely throughout. Mr Khum was more than helpful when it came to orangising transport and catering for the changing schedule of our trail, flights and transport. We had 3 guides. 1 was really good, called Prabin Tamang, who took us to Annapurna. We wish we had Pabin for the entire 21 days and recommend for anyone looking to use this organisation that they ask for him, he will go above and beyond to make the experience everything you could hope for. As for the other guides we found them to be average in comparison to Prabin in the sense that they were cheap with our pre paid daily allowance, unclear on the conditions of that daily allowance and whilst they may have known about the history of the trails and region they couldnt convey it in English. We didnt use a porter and found the trek fine in terms of weight but recommend that you dont try to condense the trail for self imposed time constraints and instead take the time to acclimatise and enjoy the beauty and culture of each region. We would happily use this organisation again and recommend using it to anyone who is looking at this adventure, especially with the support of Mr Khum and Prabin Tamang.

Everest Base Camp is amazing trek. The views of Everest, Lhotse and Amadablam are spectacular. It is not easy trek to do but doable with passion. Tyangboche Monastery and Namche Bazzar are other highliggts of the trek. The flight to and from Lukla can be delayed or cancelled due to unconditional weather and extra days not to miss international flights are recommended.

I asked them to provide me with their sleeping bag which was of good quality. and their airport pickup was good and safe. My guide Megendra Giri made the trip really easy by providing care and insuring my safety during the trip. We have been to a lot of places in the world but this trip was the most beautiful. Every direction you look in is stunning and this is quite an amazing place from beginning to end. The trek and accommodations were excellent and the views were amazing!

Our trip was arranged professional from the airport to the airport at Katmandu. We also did not have problem with the flights from Katmandu to Lukla and back, had delays but it was normal. We got all informations we needed from the office and during the trekking we did not have to worry about anything. Every day had a beautiful views to the mountains just have to look up and admire it in a good sunny weather which we had. Our guide Chandra also made the trekking better. He was friendly with full of cheerfulness, he took care of us perfectly, answered all our questions. The porters also made a good job, respect what they do. Overall it was a lifelong experience, never forget, thanks.

Super recommend !!! Very serious company that helped me from the first moment, with several questions and uncertainty with which track to do. They explain in detail all the steps and options. Our first flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was canceled and they helped giving away the existing options. We decided to take a car to Salleri and did the trek from there. They helped with everything and managed to organize on the same day the car. Our guide Samrat Katel (better known as Durga) was amazing from the first moment we met. Always very attentive and professional he knows everything about the area and during the trail we learned a lot. He always questioned us about the physical conditions and treated us very well. A great travel companion for this type of trek. A true friend in the mountains. Super I recommend the company and especially our guide Durga. Th trek: truly outstanding, we had an amazing guide and never encountered problems to find beds in guest houses. Our guide took such good care of all of us, checking our health and fatigue. He was also very involved with the life of the group, spending evenings with us playing cards and so on. Khum, Krishna and he team at our local tour operator did a fabulous job organizing the trek to EBC. The food and teahouses we used along the way were possibly the best in each of the villages. All had western toilets, which was certainly a bonus. We even decided mid-trek to adjust the itinerary and take a helicopter back from base camp to Kathmandu. The operator handled our changes seamlessly and at a reasonable price. Finally, a huge thank you to our guides Raj, Pasang and Santa, along with our three porters. You were all fantastic and made this a trip none of us will ever forget.

Had a great time hiking up to the Everest Base Camp this past October! The local operator took care of all arrangements, permits, accommodation and food during the trek so I just had the peace of mind to enjoy the trip.

The whole process from start to finish was amazing! Excellent communication before our flights to Nepal, collection from the airport in Kathmandu, easy remedies to any problems and understanding with individual circumstances.Our guide Guruu and our porter Dandi made this trip even more special. Due to flights being cancelled to Lukla because of inclement weather, we had to shorten the trip meaning that Guruu and Dandi had to work even harder, faster and smarter than usual. Nothing was too much to ask of the them and if I have family or friends booking similar experiences in Nepal, I would without question give them Guruus details.

This is my honest review of this local tour operator and not the trek itself, theres a big difference. My guide was fantastic and I had an amazing time, yet the company hires guides on an individual basis and cheaper companies like this dont pay them well. I got lucky with my guide but most dont speak English very well. My biggest frustration is the lack of communication I had to pay for a whole day of meals that were supposed to be included, there was no check in when I returned, and no communication throughout 4 days when they doublebooked my guide and left me with no one. Just dont expect to get all you are promised when booking. Luckily my guide arranged for his friend to trek with me, but the operator was never in touch at all. My airport pickup was also unclear and I was pressured into tipping heavily. I ended up arranging my own taxi back to the airport because I was getting no help. I got the sense I was being swindled often it was hard to tell what the truth was. It was clear to me that they care most about money and reviews and not about honesty or business ethics. I would recommend either paying more for a quality company or arranging your trek directly with a local guide rather than going through this company. Just very poor communication all around and the lack of transparency was very unsettling.

We had an amazing experience during our trek to EBC! The views were absolutely stunning and the trek itself was the perfecto mix of challenging and relaxing terrain.

Everything was fine. I booked a group tour but people cancelled so it happened to be a private one which was good for me because I was worried that it might be cancelled at all. My guide was helpful and understanding. Finally we made it to the base camp.

Trekking is hard and i have to struggle to reach EBC, but all the hardship was worth it. EBC trekking and all the magnifecent views are all amazing and i will say that this is one of the most beautiful moments that i will remember in a lifetime.

This is a spectacular trekking experience, with great views of the Everest region. The pacing is reasonable for people used to exercising regularly, and my guide, Pasang, made me feel safe by checking my oxygen each day and encouraging me to take rests and drink water. He was also patient with me taking lots of photos.

There is nothing more beautiful in the earth than to walk the long gruesome distance only to see the worlds highest so close to us. This is the only trek where you can walk through the worlds highest mountains.

My physical condition was unable to stand with the attitute sickness, so I am forced to give up on the 4th day, I am so disappointed.

This is a popular trek in Nepal, and it could be done alone, but I would strongly suggest using a trekking company if you are new to the area! There are some places along the way where you could make a wrong turn, and the altitude can be dangerous if you are not cautious with your ascent. Overall, a great experience with a knowledgeable guide and fantastic views!

This local tour operator thinks of everything. The entire trek was so well organized. Perfect for my friend and I - two college women exploring Nepal for the first time. Our guide was a charismatic Sherpa named Heman. His love for the mountains and life was infectious. Within ten minutes of meeting our guide in Lukla, it became obvious to us the Heman was well-known and loved by everyone we encountered. We immediately loved him too. Its hard not to be excited about trekking to base camp, but Heman made me fall in love with the Kumbu region more than I ever thought was possible. Our guides popularity and experience positively contributed to our entire trek in almost every aspect. We stayed at guesthouses with his friends who eagerly made us feel at home and gave us more food than we needed. Heman told us stories about growing up in Sherpa villages, climbing mountains, and his dream to grow his own mountaineering business. He made us laugh, checked our oxygen levels, and brought us extra blankets on cold nights. Heman became not only a guide but a close friend. After the conclusion of our trek, Heman continued to check up on us, met up with us in Kathmandu for meals, and even took me rock climbing with some of his friends. The Nepalese people take pride in being so genuine and kind, and I feel lucky that we got to know Heman as well as we did. Heman drove us to the airport, gave us Buddhist scarves to keep us safe on our journey home, and we all teared up as we parted ways.

We just finished the Everest Base Camp/Kalapathar trek and the experience from start to finish was fantastic. Our local tour operator organised everything, and everything went smoothly from pick up at the airport onwards. The day before our trek we met our guide, Ram. If you are booking with this operator, I highly recommend you request Ram as your guide, as he was fantastic from start to finish and we couldn't have asked for a better companion. He was incredibly helpful and informative, and a lovely, happy person to be around. Ram was really reassuring and provided any assistance we needed, which was particularly great when one of our party had food poisoning. Ram made sure everyone was OK, but was also experienced enough to know it wasn't altitude sickness and to know our limits. On top of that, he bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't recommend him more and hope we can trek with him again in the near future. The trek itself is spectacular, tricky at times, but well worth it.

This trip was well organised from start to finish. I was met at the airport , dropped to my hotel then taken to the office to sort payment and plans. Our guide, Namgel, was fab. He filled us in on all sorts of facts, kept us safe and monitored how we were doing along the way. Our porter (I can't remember his name!) was also wonderful, helping us if we lost our footing and looking after our bags. Tea house accomdation was better than expected, Oxgygen altitude in lobche was just what we needed. A successful summit to base camp that I shall never forget.

This trek starts with an incredible flight to Lukla which gives views of the landscape which you will soon be trekking through. The trek began with a short walk to get you started and then starts getting steeper up to the higher altitudes. The valley which you trek through follows an amazing blue river which you cross many times using the exciting suspension bridges. Namche bazar is the second stop which is a hub of trekker activity and a good place to pick up amenities before going higher up. Once you get above 4500m the landscape completely changes and you start to get up close views of some huge peaks. Arriving at Basecamp was the highlight for me, partially because it was the reason for the trek but also to see the huge glacier, which is the first part the the expeditions to the Everest summit, was awesome.

Amazing tour ever, everything was organized on a very good level and our team didn't worry about anything, just enjoyed every single day of the tour! Because our tour guide Mingma Sherpa is local sherpa from Khunde and has a lot of friends and connections it gave us privilege at every place where we stayed. Also he was very flexible and changed our route based on our wishes, on the way back we stayed in Khunde at his brother's house instead of Namche Bazar as planned initially. It was unforgettable, the place is remote in the mountains and give you feeling of full isolation and incredible views on peaks, for me it was as in paradise

From the beginning to the end everything was very organized, we didnt have any problem on the way and our guide, Migma Dai was just the best one!! he was always looking after us and trying always to makes us happy. He knew very well all the area and because of him we could visit some other new places on the way back. The duration of the trekking is enough to get to the base camp enjoying each of the towns, the lodges were also good and comfortable enough to rest and have good food.

Amazing experience be open minded with living accommodations when close to base camp. Have extra money for waters, limited visa places and only one town with arm. Trails/view were amazing food was good. Guide as great!

Wonderful magical scenery through scenic remote villages. Some of the best outdoor views in the world. Espwcially when you start seeing the mountain peaks like ama dablam pumori etc. The physical side is tough and days are long and so is getting used to altitude but its a unique worthwhile experience.

It's all about the guide, and we got a great one , our camera broke down so Lackpa took photos of my son and I throughout the trek ebc treck is very busy this time of year,yuo may not get lodging , with this local operator we always had a room , thanks to Lackpa, , all in all a 5 rating,

In september 2017 we successfully made the Everest Base Camp Trek with this local operator. It was an amazing experience. Everything went very smooth. When one of our bags went missing at the airport, the organization promised us they would find it - and they did. Our guide, Ram Adhikari, really did a wonderful job all trek long. He was caring and got a lot of knowledge to share with us. We also enjoyed a free welcome- and farewell-diner before and after the trek. I've got nothing negative to say.

It was a very difficult trek, but worth it. I work on a lot on my endurance, but it all depends on how your body responds to the altitude. I did not take diamox instead ginkgo biloba. Truly did helped.

Our trek was well organised by the staff at this local operator. Our guide, Kumal, was very attentive and constantly went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after both along the trek itself and whenever we stopped at a tea house along the way. Our guide was very professional and shared his advice when we asked for it but was also a lot of fun and joined in on the joking and humour. Very well put together trek - would highly recommend!

This trip was an absolute struggle, from packing too much, hiking at altitudes I'm not used to, and many other ankle biters. That being said I enjoyed the trip (after recovering) and I'm very glad I did it.

The guide is very nice, Raju accompanied me to every place in the plan, except that I failed to reach the base camp, only to finish the trek at Thulka, which is something I didn't expect, but it's a fine trip after all.

The good: amazing landscape and adventure. The bad: my partner got altitude sickness and we had to be rescued on the sixth day. Luckily we had purchased insurance and everything was covered

Guide we had was very knowledgeable and aware of his groups health. Although English was a bit difficult at times, communication was good. Pickup at arrival was not smooth- had to wait 2 hours for driver. Arrangements in Kathmandu were good and Farewell dinner was excellent. Advantage of doing it through a tour group is that all arrangements during the trek are arranged, even when we had to go to Plan B

This was my first trek over 2 days and I couldn't have been more pleased. They say the trek lasts 12-14 days, but we finished it in 9 which is very doable if you are in decent shape. I went on this trek in June so the weather wasn't great because of the monsoon, but it cleared up just at the right time for us to see Everest. We did get stuck a few days in Lukla due to weather, which was extremely frustrating. I would recommend going on this trek outside of monsoon season. Altogether this trek was outstanding!

The trek was strenuous but totally worth it. The views of the mountains are otherworldly and something everyone should see in their lifetime. Venn Dong was a great guide with lots of experience and knowledge of the flora, fauna, and culture of the people in the mountains. This was a great trek, even as someone who doesn't trek often.

The trek to Everest Base Camp in itself was amazing, but wasn't made any better by our guide, who was a constant source of confusion. At the most basic level, our guide's English was relatively poor--he often confused words and never used the correct tense--and communication about things as simple as breakfast orders were difficult. Having trekked with other guides in Nepal, his English was surprisingly poor for someone who has been working in this profession for over a decade. Beyond communication issues, he also made mistakes identifying medicine (he attempted to give someone in our group an antibacterial pill instead of Diamox), and wasn't able to correctly read or interpret the BPM/SaO2 levels on his oximeter when someone was showing early symptoms of AMS. Additionally, while the other guides would give detailed itineraries for the day, showing where trekkers would go on a map, our guide didn't even carry a map or provide us accurate time estimates for trekking. On the trail, he would command one of the porters to guide us in front while he walked leisurely behind us, and sometimes disappeared for 5-10 minutes without a word. Although it was useful to have him around for ease with accommodations, our trek would have been the same or perhaps improved without this guide, and only the porters.

It was awesome experience. Our guide, Lakhpa Sherpa, provided proper guidance and made sure we complete the trek without any problem.
