Retrace the steps of mountaineering legends with the "Everest Base Camp Trek," a classic Himalayan journey designed for both young adults and seasoned explorers. Beginning in the Sherpa town of Lukla, this trekking tour winds through the scenic Dudh Koshi Valley, bustling Namche Bazaar, and on to iconic sites like Tengboche Monastery before reaching Everest Base Camp itself. Along the way, immerse yourself in authentic Sherpa culture, Buddhist traditions, and jaw-dropping mountain vistas, including Everest, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu. The trek also features challenging hikes to Kala Patthar and Nangkhartshang Peak for unbeatable high-altitude panoramas. The USP: a blend of physical achievement, spiritual discovery, and access to the world’s most storied peaks—all in one unforgettable trip.
Without Raj, I couldn't have accomplished this trek. Despite my poor English, he managed to understand my needs patiently and tried to fulfill them. Witnessed great mountain veiws everyday. See you again, Raj.
I recently embarked on the 14-day Everest Base Camp trek, and I couldn't have been more impressed with the service. From the initial booking process to the trek itself, every aspect was meticulously handled with care and attention to detail. The person I communicated with during the booking process, was incredibly helpful and responsive. He patiently answered all my questions, both before and after booking, providing me with detailed information that eased any concerns I had as a solo female traveler. His thoroughness made me feel confident and safe about undertaking this adventure. During the trek, my guide proved to be an invaluable asset. Not only was he highly knowledgeable about the region and its challenges, but he also went above and beyond to ensure our group's safety and well-being. His daily debriefings were informative and motivating, and he provided valuable advice on best practices to avoid altitude sickness and other potential risks. I must also commend the porters, for their exceptional service. Always with a smile on their faces, they tirelessly carried our belongings, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the journey. I'm grateful for their contributions to making it memorable. Overall, my experience exceeded all expectations. Their exceptional service and support, coupled with the expertise of their guides and the kindness of their porters, made for an unforgettable trekking experience. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the majestic Himalayas.
Great lead guides. They have outstanding knowledge of the Everest base camp trek. They were exceptional in ensuring all were served food and drinks and even carried bags if some of us went sick. I was quite sick and they did outstanding work to help me!
We just completed EBC trek and it was an AMAZING experience. I don’t want to go in depth but many thanks to our guides.
Doing the Everest Base Camp trek was one of the coolest experiences of my life! The trail and trekking culture is one that you will never forget! I specifically want to call out our guide. I got sick half way and he took such good care of me. He has over 15 years of experience and it definitely showed. He also made the trip so fun and light and was always cracking jokes. I would book with them 1000x over.
We had an incredible time on our 14 day trek to Everest Base camp all thanks to our amazing guide & porter! Not only were they both super friendly, kind & fun to hang out with but we also learned so much from them about the area & Nepali culture. Our guide took such great care of us - always making sure we were prepared, getting what we needed & making sure that we were being safe in terms of altitude. He’s such a fun person to hang out with & after this trek we consider him a friend! I 100% recommend requesting him for your trek!! Our porter always has a smile on his face despite carrying over 30kg of our things on the same intense 14 day trek that we did with light day bags! He’s super friendly & knowledgeable about the area & we had a great time spending time with him & learning from him! 100% recommend requesting him for your trip - as a soon to be guide!
Highly recommend this trip. Perfect expedition! We booked the Everest Panorama Trek and we definitely will book an other trek again with this company next year. Everything was perfectly organised. Our tour guide was so nice, friendly, polite and competent. He works long time as a guide so we felt absolutely save at all time and we learned a lot about the Himalaya, the mountains and the culture cause of his experience. We also hired a porter. He was so much friendly and polite all the time. We were lucky we did the tour with them! We highly recommend them. Hopefully we will meet them again. Thank you guys for this unforgettable expedition.
Wow! What a beautiful adventure as we trekked to Annapurna Base Camp. Our guide was so friendly and accommodating and we were so lucky to have him. Because we were a small group of four, he let us push further than usual each day to give us more time at Base Camp. He not only paved our path, but made sure that we were comfortable every step of the way. His kindness even extended beyond his duties on his day off when I ended up in the hospital in Kathmandu and he stayed with me there all day. The operators checked on me each day, which just goes to show the added love of this company. When we return, we will 100% choose them again! And, next time, we hope that our guide will take us to his favorites!
Challenging but an incredible journey. Highly recommend poles especially for the way down but there are so many ups and downs so might as well use throughout. Incredible scenery and changes daily. Bring earplugs as walls in all lodges are paper thin. Beanie great for the cold. Take it slowly and soak up the nature, village life and surroundings. An unforgettable experience. Go half way to Kalla Patter to still get incredible views
Once in a lifetime experience! Went in April and the weather was sunny with temperatures dropping as we got higher.
Guide Pasang Dawa Sherpa - An Amazing Man! In completing the challenging trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp in October 2022 with this local travel specialist, we were so blessed to have Pasang Dawa Sherpa as our guide! Pasang was absolutely amazing! He not only led us every step of the way, but he was always so positive and encouraging. Pasang literally guided us from our hotel in Katmandu, riding with us on the long, winding road to Manthali for the flight to Lukla, then following our trek to Everest Base Camp, and Mt. Kalapathar, he remained with us all the way back to Kathmandu. The following day, we met with him for a celebratory dinner, and he presented us with special certificates for completing the trek successfully. During the trek, Pasang took care of all arrangements, even helping serve our meals and making sure we all remained healthy and acclimatized to the high altitude trekking. Pasang is such a friendly, humble man, but he always took charge of everything, and every village we came to he was so well known and respected by everyone. Pasang had a great sense of humor and an unlimited knowledge of the mountains, the cultures, the religions, and the history of the Khumbu Region we were hiking through. He was such a great guide in every way, and I would feel so privileged to follow his lead again when I make my next trip to Nepal. Larry Compton
This trip has been a dream come true and thanks to my Guide Sunil and 2 of the porters Jeet and Lochan. Absolute Legends. The trip was very well planned and managed very well by Sunil. Always making sure we are safe and have everything we need. 100% recommend to book tours with this local travel specialist.
We did 14 days Everest Base Camp trek with our guide Raj in October 2019. He was outstanding and anyone traveling with Ace I highly recommend Raj as a guide.
I would highly recommend this company for the trekking. They take care of everything for you so you can just enjoy the trek. I absolutely loved the trip and when things went wrong (sick people, weather conditions, flight delays) they did the best to assure the best possible experience. I would highly recommend to ask for Ravi in your team, he is superb. He is bit quiet person but extremely polite and sweet, constantly caring that everyone is happy. Making sure we dont go too fast, that everybody makes it, he is super polite and respectful. I fully trusted Ravi. Absolute gem for ACE. Also Raj was great team lead with medical experience and natural leadership skills. And Ramesh was really fun and uplifting the mood. Great team combination as each bring different strength. The only bad experience was the travel from Kathmandu to Manthali and back. Of course this is not in control of ACE but the trip was really bad. The length of the trip is one point but what makes it terrible is the quality of the roads. Quality is so poor that people with back problems or suffering with motion sickness will not handle the trip well. Also its almost impossible to snooze in during the ride in order to put the long trip in good use. Im not sure if ACE and other companies are able to reach out to government to work on this. Also they forgot to arrange the shuttle back to the airport for us as we left week after our trek. This caused us bit of stress and we had to take taxi instead but this was the only thing that went wrong during the whole trip, which is impressive. Other than that the trip was amazing, and I would really recommend using ACE to help you to cross thing off your bucket list :)
You really cannot go wrong with this trip. I mean you are going to THE Everest Base camp, and the views you get even from the beginning of the trek are just breathtaking. And of course, as you progress to the higher altitudes, those views just become insane. However, it is definitely not an easy undertaking. We are talking about a trek that goes up to 5500m+ which has about 50% oxygen in the air. That's not for any beginners to climb. Hence, many first-timers tend to go to ABC, instead of EBC. However, with the right attitude and the strong determination, you can definitely make it, and my tour operator definitely helped me finish the trek. Also a thing to keep in mind is that we are talking about trekking in Nepal, not the Swiss Alps. Therefore, the facilities will be a bit more downgraded than you might expect and hygiene is very poor up in the mountains. But of course you have to ignore all that for the view you will get in the Himalayas.
Wonderful experience. Well planned out. Majestic views and amazing scenery. An experience you will never forget.
Fantastic!!! I cannot begin to describe the magnificence of the scenery; the mountains, valleys, cluuds, suspension bridges... One has to go and see it with their own eyes as pictures don't do it any justice either. So, I will concentrate on the team that helped us enjoy all that. We were a group of 7 people of varying fitness levels, with me bringing the rear. I was worried after reading some guides pushing the clients and profiting from helicopter calls but our guide, Krish, was excellent never pushing us to speed up and was always supportive, no matter how slow I was and how many times I stopped to catch my breath. On many an occasion he offered to carry my backpack although I only let him once. I would probably had turned back half way without his unwavering support. Also special thanks go to our assistant guide Souman. Like a good shepherd, he kept a keen eye on all of us and made sure all our needs were met, both on the trail and off, at the tea houses.. All in all, our guides and porters helped make this an experience to remember.
Excellently conducted by our tour guide/leader, Mr Kishore or Krishh as we all called him.Paced us very well throughout the tour. The accommodations arranged were good. The food was hygienic and nourishing. He understood the differences in physiological adaptations in the different members . The other members in our team ,including our helper/co-guide Mr Soman were also very impressive .
Best guide (Madan), best assistant guide (Sauman), best trip. Choose this agency whitout hesitation.
Sunil,Romas, mama and dang were absolutely outstanding. Could not be happier with their services.
The trek itself was so beautiful and so challenging. Our guide Dipak Dahal and assistant guide, Kamal Raj Nyaupane were amazing. They worked tirelessly on the trail, at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and after hours to make sure each of us had what we needed for a successful trek. Dipak monitored our oxygen and heart rates as we climbed in elevation and he helped to manage other symptoms that travelers had including gastrointestinal issues, headaches from altitude, and cold symptoms. He made sure we stayed hydrated and ate appropriate meals for optimum energy. Dipak is much more than a 'guide.' He and Kamal paced the group but were also willing to go at the pace needed by the slowest trekkers on any given day. We never felt rushed, we always felt cared for--whether we slowed due to a lack of energy or because we couldn't take enough photographs. (It's impossible to take enough photographs!) Dipak Dahal
We trekked to Everest Base Camp in April 2018 and had the most amazing trip. Our main guide Nimesh was excellent and made the trip very easy and good fun. The trip was very easy to book and the operator's website provides all the information you need. Whenever I had queries its representative replied to emails very quickly. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Nimesh and had induction the next day for the trip. The trip was very organised from the very start. We had one issue at the beginning where two of our group of eight had to fly immediately out of Kathmandu to Lukla the morning after they arrived which was an inconvenience and more notice would have been appreciated. Other than that however the rest of the trip was great and I found the company very helpful. I found the trek very enjoyable all the way along and our guides Nimesh and Sauman were great as there was always one leading and one at the back of the group. We were able to take our time and take breaks and they never once complained! We all made it successfully to Base Camp and the guides were great when some of the group struggled with altitude, we were in safe hands and knew what to expect as we gained in altitude. My favourite part besides reaching Base Camp was climbing Kala Patthar. Climbing in the dark makes it easier as you cannot see how steep it is and how far you have to go. Also the night sky and the surrounding Himalayas are absolutely amazing. The whole experience was unbelievable and the service we received was second to none. I would wholeheartedly recommend this trek and I hope to return to Nepal again.
Had an AWESOME time with the EBC trek with Ace!! The guides and porters were fantastic and were always there to help with everything you need. It was an adventure of a lifetime and the trek was everything I had expected. Beautiful sceneries and friendly people up and down the trail. Would love to do it again!
This was truly the adventure of a lifetime. Traveling with Ace was a fantastic experience! Booked the 14 day Annapurna Base Camp trek and spent in good hands with guide Resham and porters, Dhan and Gunjan. Resham was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and attentive. He and our porters made sure we were well taken care of and comfortable at all times. The days were challenging, but balanced and rewarding. Each day had something unique and beautiful to offer without being overwhelming or exhausting. Trekking through the small villages, forests, and mountains with our small group was ideal. Highly recommended it to anyone interested in Nepal and the Himalayas.
I would like to thank everyone for the unforgettable 42 days with you in Nepal. From the individual planning to the last day of the trip everything worked perfectly. There are many tour operators in Kathmandu. The competition is very big but there are differences in service and professionalism. I have chosen you because of professional appearance, sustainability and the cooperation with the mountain people in the Gorkha Valley who have been badly affected by earthquakes. About 80% of the employees come from this region. Many of them lost their homes or relatives in 2015 and many were destroyed by the earthquake. Prem K Khatry is doing an incredible job. He has built up many jobs as well as SAMBHAV NEPAL. The organisation collects money for the reconstruction of schools, infrastructure, water systems, houses etc. in the Gorkha area. Most of the guides come from there and can feed their families. Before my trip I also participated in the Greiffeseelauf 2018 (half marathon) as a sponsor runner for SAMBHAV NEPAL (Switzerland). Thanks to my private sponsors I was able to transfer about 800 USD to SAMBHAV. Also the occasion was the ideal preparation for my time in the Himalayas. On the first day after my arrival I took part in an unforgettable city tour. This gave me a first insight into the life and culture of Nepal. A few days later I started the 14 days EVEREST BASE CAMP (EBC) Trek with a small group (3 guests, 1 guide & 2 porter). Our guide RESHAM RANA took good care of us the whole time and knows every single mountain with name and height. The guesthouses where we spent the night were among the best in the region. The highlight of the trek was the sunrise in Kalaphatar (5643m) with view on the roof of the world and the Khumbu glacier. After the EBC Trek I was driven for some days in the REBUILD HOME PROGRAM to Aruphokari (Gorkha valley) where I stayed overnight in the tent with a family. The family took good care of me and I was able to experience the Dashain Hindu Festival and my birthday close up with the local families. Many thanks (dhanyebad) to SUJAN KHATRY and his family for the cordiality. Besides, I worked with the construction workers to build new houses in the region. The REBUILD HOME PROGRAM was a social service that I can recommend to everyone. It gives you an insight into the daily life in the village. In addition, one gives something back to the hearty locals and does good for the wonderful country and the people. After the social service I was picked up and taken directly to the start of the 18 days MANASLU CIRCUIT TREK. My guide RAM PRESAD LAMICHHANE took care of us during the whole tour and has become a good friend. Our group consisted of 4 guests, 1 guide and 2 porter. The guesthouses were always very well selected and we always had the best service from start to finish. The highlight of the MANASLU CIRCUIT TREK was the crossing of the Larkya Pass (5141m). The trek was unforgettable and the nature fantastic. After the whole program I had some days of rest in Pokhara and Begnas Lake. After the tours we had a farewell dinner with the guides in a typical Nepalese restaurant. The 6 weeks in Nepal remain with me in best memory. I hope that I can come back as soon as possible. Many thanks to all involved for the unforgettable time. I wish you, your families and Nepal much success for the future. Namaste & Dhanyebad Reto
This trek cannot be explained, it is like nothing I have ever experienced before. The whole hike looks like you photoshopped Mother Nature. Visiting a monastery at 4000 m is quite mistical, the Everest memorials are surreal and base camp is among the best accomplishment anyone can have. the actual hike is quite challenging up hill all the time and add in altitude sickness but its with it bud the picture is the view from are tea house in the morning
This trek will change your perspective on life. It very hard but very rewarding.
Absolute highest caliber company and guide. Everything ran smoothly. I was well briefed and the trek very well organized. Even though I went during the low season, we were lucky with great weather and views of the mountains. We made it to EBC on schedule and also Kala Patthar. My guide, Ram, was top notch. He was incredibly knowledgeable and articulate about the landmarks, culture, history, politics, and nuances of this region of Nepal. He was always available and helpful, caring and personable. Its clear he has built excellent relationships with the guest-house owners and communities along the way, which really enhanced the experience. Our porter was likewise excellent. I have nothing but good things to say, and would highly recommend this company to friends and family wanting to trek in Nepal.
My Guide - Dipak Neupane My Porter - Shere My trip to Everest Base Camp was incredibly fun. Definitely an experience of a lifetime with great memories and photos to treasure. It was also very physically challenging and thats where my Guide Dipak was so outstanding. Upon arrival to Nepal, I first met Dipak at the airport. I soon learned my luggage did not arrive with me. He immediately put me at ease and set to work on tracking my luggage. Dipak has a warm and reassuring personality. I didn't anticipate at first, but as the trek went on, I soon came to appreciate Dipak's skills at handling all the logistics as a luxury, allowing me to more deeply enjoy the spectacular experience, while I was also pushing the limits of my physical endurance. All along the way, he shared an inside wealth of interesting geographical, cultural, and historical knowledge without overwhelming the experience. I need to put a big 'Shout Out' for the wonderful Porter I had as well. He quietly and unassumingly carried my gear for 14 days and I felt his encouragement at some of most strenuous moments of the trek It is very true what they say, once you've experienced trekking in Nepal, you'll want to return again and again!
I had the most epic, trip of a lifetime trekking to Everest Base Camp. Our group had an outstanding group of guides and porters, but the one that really stands out in my mind is Rabi Thapa. When it was time to get going, he'd call out "excuse me, Jam Jam!" and we absolutely loved it! He always made sure we had everything we needed while on trail as well as at the guest houses. I was feeling less than stellar the day we reached Base Camp and the two days following, and Rabi was right there checking on me. Even after our trek was over, our group had the honor of meeting his wife and two children. They were the most gracious hosts and I will never forget their kindness and company! It was definitely a highlight of my trip!
Our 14 day Everest Base Camp Trek was an epic and beautiful adventure. Sure, taking on the Himalayas without a guide is a possibility but from start to finish our tour operator made the entire process seamless and incredibly enjoyable. The services included airport pickup and drop-off, hotel arrangements in Kathmandu, extra bag storage and all tea houses booked along the way. The company website provides detailed information on the trek as well as the gear required to make it all happen. Our group knew how challenging a trip like this would be, but we had no idea how we would luck out with our top-tier guide, Laxmi. She was super knowledgeable, funny and despite her small frame, a strong and capable trekker. We honestly couldn't imagine having such an incredible time without her. Within a few days she became more than a guide and more like a bonus member of our trekking crew, and eventually, like a member of our family. Laxmi was our liaison for our interactions with the locals as well as dealing with ordering our food for each and every meal. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and well fed, and even took the time to play cards with us during the down time before going to sleep. She taught us Nepalese phrases, quoted exact heights and names of the mountains we encountered and never complained about our humor or repetitive questions. Laxmi was truly a gem. The porters were also excellent. These small-framed young men were beasts on the trail. Carrying two bags each, they would arrive at our destination before us and have our bags ready in our rooms. They were efficient, trustworthy and had wonderful energy. There are many trekking companies out there, but I can say with authority that Prem and his team are in the upper echelon of trekking companies in Nepal. Highly recommended.
We began the trek at a modest pace out of Lukla which allowed the group to get a feel for the mountain hiking. We did not feel rushed or pressured to walk at a faster pace than comfortable. We loved the incredibly scenery in the Himalayas. The guide Madan was terrific. He had a great personality and told many stories. I enjoyed discussions about Hinduism and Buddhism. He was very attentive at assessing the health needs of the group by checking out oxygenation with a portable pulse oximeter. (Highly suggested amazon purchase for $20). He checked in on each guest several times a day for signs of altitude sickness. Our tour operator provided extra staff to help manage travelers that needed come down the mountain early due to moderate altitude sickness. The low oxygen at 18,000 feet made the hike to Kalapathar challenging. It was a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend to take the Everest Base Camp trek.
The Everest Base Camp Trek was the tip of a lifetime. The views, the culture, the experiences were all phenomenal. I joined the trek with three friends and we were put into a group of eleven. The structure of the journey brought us all together on a physically demanding, spiritually rewarding excursion. Everything seemed planned out perfectly. Our lodging and food were just right. It never felt overwhelming for what we were accomplishing and never felt too posh to be real. Our guide, Barat, took care of everything. A true mountaineer, completely versed in mountain first aid, conditions, culture, and wisdom, he safely guided us throughout the journey, knowing when some could continue and others could not. I felt in great hands with him at our lead.
First class service from our local tour operator. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly. Our guide Dipak Dahal did a wonderful job of looking after a fairly large and somewhat disparate group. We always knew what the next section would involve and what we needed. When one of our group succumbed to altitude sickness and needed helicopter evacuation, it was handled smoothly and without fuss. Head office support was great, every query promptly answered and requests responded to. Thoroughly recommend this operator for treks, you will be safe and well looked after.
Once we were on the trek, our expert guide, Sonam took great care of us! It was clear Sonam had the respect from all the other guides we came across and his experience was clear. Sonam made sure we hydrated and prevented altitude sickness. He made sure we ate properly and told us what we needed to avoid. He educated us on how to breathe and pace ourselves on the climbs. He motivated us when we needed it. Additionally, Sonam handled all the financial transactions and translated for us throughout the trek. He provide interesting cultural insight.
While the trek was enjoyable, would have liked a couple of extra days to explore and enjoy the local villages, sight as well as to acclimatize a bit more.
My trek was a couple years ago and I can not stop telling people about it and thinking about when I can return. This has to be the most beautiful place in the world and the most difficult hike I have done yet. We went in April, for my birthday, and ACE did an amazing job planning and guiding it.
The trek was phenomenal - gorgeous scenery, great exercise, unforgettable cultural experiences.
Our EBC trek at the very beginning of the season was most exciting and memorable. An unforgettable trip due in part to an amazing tour guide.
My boyfriend and I did this trek back in April/May (2017). It was the end of the season. Trek itself was great. Had a lovely intimate group of just 7 which made the trip all the more enjoyable. Our guide was also really patient and great with the group. Couldn't recommend the trip more highly!
My son and I did the EBC trip in late May. It was the end of the season, so the trail wasn't as busy. We got lucky with the weather! The trip was outstanding. We really enjoyed going with a local operator. I found both guides knowledgeable and very competent. I got sick halfway through the trip and the main guide, Kishore, was outstanding. His encouragement and expertise enabled me to reach basecamp and finish the trip.
Every part of the experience was better than I expected in terms of the attention to detail and customer service in regard to the guides and porters on this trek.
We were with Laxmi for our trek, and she was great. Felt completely safe, informed what to expect each day, and went above and beyond helping us when needed. Remember that you might have an itinerary, but the mountain and weather conditions don't. Laxmi was great and was able to take any situation and find a way to remedy it or find another option. Met a ton of fantastic other trekkers on this trip as well. Before heading out on the trek, Prem was very good about answering any questions I had and working with me when it came to logistics. Highly recommend, can't say anything but good things about this company and trek. My fianc and I got engaged on this trip; thank you for helping us with a very special moment :)
I loved every minute of this amazing EBC trek. My best friend Ritchie and I booked it 9 months in advance and looked forward to it everyday. We met up with 7 others from the USA and one from Australia (one couple from Colorado was working in Africa at the time). Our group clicked right away and had so much fun together. We had an amazing guide, Raj, and his excellent sidekick Dipak. The trek itself was phenomenal, with gorgeous weather and spectacular mountain view everywhere you looked. Our team is still in touch today, over two years since we finished the trek. We're even considering a reunion of sorts.
This was the most incredible experience, a once in a lifetime opportunity and I loved every minute of it. It was challenging, the mountains were breathtaking and the Nepalese people are amazing. Nothing can prepare you for the silence, the beauty of the people and those magic mountains!
Was an excellent experience it far exceeded my expectations. ACE and the guides made the entire two weeks go off with out a hitch. Everything was planned and organized, which made the overall experience that much better. The guides were patient and knowledgeable and of course showed the utmost hospitality to our entire group. Great would use them again.
It was a fantastic experience and one that I will never ever forget - it was very professional - our guides were amazing and extremely knowledgeable and helpful - nothing was ever an issue - we have a group of 9 friends on our tour and we were treated with so much kindness!!!!
From the moment we stepped off the plane in Lula until the moment of our departure, everything was taken care of. Meticulous planning, excellent food, the kindest people I have ever met, bigger mountains than you can imagine. This was truly the perfect adventure.
We completed the Everest Base Camp in September which was a great time of year as it was the start of the trekking season it was not to overcrowded. The trek itself was amazing, trying to explain the beauty of this place in worlds will never do it justice.
Everest base camp, bucket list item. Lives up to all expectations, beautiful and challenging.
I recently completed the 14 day trek to Everest Base Camp. It was my first solo trip. My local tour operator took excellent care of me and our guide got us all through the mountains safely. This was truly a wonderful way to experience Nepal. The food, the scenery, the culture is all incredible. Our guide was fantastic. I will definitely travel to Nepal again in the future.
Our trip to Everest base camp was one that you will remember forever. We had such a great time with memories that will last a lifetime.
As I was alone for the first time in Nepal and dealing with these altitudes was new for me, I decided to book a guided tour. I went at the end of high season and the only one the book the trip, so I was alone with my guide Geljen and our porter. This enabled us to be a little more flexible. The guide was very attentive to my needs and very happy that I was feeling strong&fit. This also meant that he had to make sure we weren't going too fast. In the end I was very nervous about making the flight back on time. I asked Geljen if we could walk in the middle of the night and he was okay with that. Thanks to this I was able to get a plane earlier - some people did get stuck at Lukla for a couple of days.
Nepal and Everest was the most amazing experience I think about everyday! Can't wait to go back!
The whole experience planned out by this company is perfect. You get to experience a bit of Kathmandu, one of the coolest flights to and from Lukla, the mountain communities, the Khumbu Glacier, and the biggest mountains on our planet. Do yourself a favour and check it out!
EBC is a stunning trek and Ace made it really comfortable. I went as a solo traveller and was supported the whole way by my guide and porter. The scenery on the trek is mindblowingly beautiful. We went at my pace the whole time and I never felt pushed or uncomfortable.
It was one of the most incredible trips I have every been on. I have been hiking for 35 years and this is at the top of the list. It couldn't have been any better. We took our 14 year old daughter on this trip and she loved it. It was well organized and planned out. Our guide Suman was phenomenal and we still keep in touch. I would certainly use ACE again and I hope to do another trip with them and their trekking guide Suman.
The guides and porters were excellent. The lodges selected by ACE were mixed. One expects the quality of the lodges to go down the higher you go, however our experience with the lodges selected by ACE were exactly the opposite. The lodges in Lukla and Phakding, the two lowest elevation villages were very poor.
The most amazing experience of my life. The sights, the people, the challenge were all well above expectations. All of this alone would have combined for an unforgettable adventure, but the tour operator made the experience so much better. The friendly and professional guides, porters and staff went above and beyond. Krish, Rabbi and the team were the best. No complaints, just 100% positive feedback. Matt Barlow and Natalie sharp
An experience of a life time. Everything surpassed our expectations! A challenge worth undertaking.
The trek to base camp with Ace was an excellent trip. the guides were helpful and friendly and assisted you every step of the way to make it a really enjoyable experience.
